UST Mamiya LIN-Q PowerCore: The Game Changer Arrives

Can anyone give some insight on the PC blue vs Diamana BB? I was playing the BB all last year and really liked it! Is the PC blue as counterbalanced as some say?
I don't have the Blue or a BB so I can't help, but I can quote this from Danny earlier in the thread. Him saying that, I wouldn't think it's overly counterbalanced where one should worry at all
It is not a true CB shaft.

Oh it’s def happening
I would venture a guess a number of people in the Cobra classic will go this route even if the shaft is not included

Curious, last week on the Cobra website they had the Lin-Q available in all kinds of weights and two colors white and blue. Now the clubs I had with this shafts all say Ventus black. NLA?

I'd maybe call them if you wanted to order. Could be a stock issue right now

With every passing day I can't wait to order a new driver with one of these shafts in it. C'mon Callaway...Hurry up. 🤣

I’m definitely interested in these, as a current Ventus guy. Trying to figure out best way to get fit for which flex/tipping. Currently play TR Black 6x (untipped) in driver, TR Red 7x (tipped 1”) in mini driver, and TR Red 8x (tipped 1.5”) in 7w. The TRVReds tend to go left or at least 2 way miss, while the TR Black is straight to fade. So thinking about going to white or blue in the PC. Any thoughts/advice?

What fitters do you have access to and do they carry UST Mamiya?

In northern NJ so anywhere in this area. I didn’t see a list of fitters on the UST website but maybe I missed it.

Planning to get mini-driver & 7W shafts retipped ASAP.

I still need to get adapters for these. Have to be ready for everything that is coming!

Callaway will offer in custom.
Cobra will offer in custom.
We are working with other companies to make this custom.
Yessss! This is so great to see! Quantum PowerCore bombs will be happening.

From TGL tonight:

I'm stuck between getting a Powercore blue shaft for my G430 10k (replacing my Lin-Q M40x Blue).....or getting a new driver. Thinking the most prudent thing would be geting the Powercore for a club I know I love and let all the releases come out....then go hit them and see if I want to buy driver head. I can always swap the adapter out of the shaft for the new head....

Seems like a smart move.

I was really hoping for it with LinQ being the standard option earlier for Cobra. But to see them even as an upcharge option is fantastic.
are they on the Cobra website as custom offerings?

That's kind of what I'm doing. Having the adapter installed right now in the shaft for the Tour Edge. If I but a new driver this year, I'll have the adapter swapped out.

Are you building them or shipping them off to a friend?

I have found I have rarely if ever regretted a purchase especially golf wise that I really wanted. Can always make more money.

I will be spending an unhealthy amount of time and money on the Callaway website this Friday......
