UST Mamiya Recoil Shafts Review Thread

The 125 F4's. F4 is a stiff flex. I am going to have them softstepped once

I got home today and had quit a surprise! A box from UST mamiya sitting at the door. I barely made it into the house before I ripped into it! I was blow away when I actually got to see and feel these shafts in person! I was shocked at how much they don't feel or look like a graphite shaft they feel/look a lot like a steel shaft and I think that's a good thing for an iron shaft. For anyone who hasn't seen these in person you have no idea how incredible they look the pics do not do them justice!

Wake up this morning and I am beyond excited to get this started. Have some ideas floating around in my skull. First thing is tomorrow. I know what happens to my body when I hit a ton of balls with some irons that are steel shafted. My fingers and wrists will flare up and half the time I will be unable to fully make a fist.

Well I plan on taking a picture of my hand prior to going and then after the range. I'm hoping the pictures can pick up the swelling. Sometimes it can't. Then when I get the irons with recoils in I will do the same. There will be a difference based on what I have seen in the past.

Very cool. I've always considered graphite even more so now with my left wrist injury. Anyone know what the price of these are? I'm scared to even find out since I know how expensive the IS990 Prototypes are haha.

Depending on the model these can run pretty high. Prices below are what I have been quoted

600 series--$40
800 series--$60-80
Prototypes--$110-$125
