Kiddo started up a new game of hogwarts legacy last night. Will see how long he sticks with it.
Completed Stray on my Portal and started Ratchet and Clank to test the connection at my parents house - zero issues, just had to connect to the WiFi there
I see lots of people posting about issues with either not being able to remote play, or having to set up port forwarding, but I have had nothing like that at all - went through the initial setup, rebooted both PS5 and Portal and everything worked

I’ve dabbled with a couple friends. I think it could be cool if you have a steady group. Kind of Destiny adjacent
Mine will play non stop for about a week and then not touch it for 2 months and repeat
I gave up on my 4th play through a month or so ago, should get back to it. The Mods are fun.

Dude, there are so many GREAT mods. Some dead useful ones, like the tractor as well as chest/collector setups. Makes things way more fun.
Such a great game.
I saw the tractor…didnt load it as I wasn’t sure if it would make it “too” easy. But, I like having huge crops and it gets tedious later in the game trying to do it all manually.

I loaded Stardew Valley Expanded and one of the larger home farms. Gonna get sucked in again, see you 3-4 months.

We bought Cal AstroBot for Christmas because he loved the short version already available on PS5. He's been playing it like crazy lately and having a blast, although his expectations of beating everything are awfully high most of the time haha
We also got him Hogwarts Legacy because he's all in on HP right now. He started playing it and having a blast so I bought it for PC telling him I was going to be a better wizard than he was - which of course I won. The game is actually pretty sick.

Hell yes!!!
Hogwarts Legacy is amazing. Played it through 100% a few times. Sooooo much to do.

yes, ain't that the truth. It's super fun, although I feel like I dress up like a total muppet sometimes with these clothing drops lmao
My oldest got CFB 26 for Christmas. He's been beating up bad teams as Ohio State on freshman difficulty. He keeps smack talking thinking he's ready to take me on head to head. I'm not a great player, but kid ain't ready and he doesn't even realize it.
This is our duty to the next generation.

Been playing online WGT Golf since COVID. It is good with good graphics and some aspects are good and some are not good. It is free to play, but paying for clubs obviously get far better results.
The good: Ball striking off the tee and from the fairway is good and seems fair. Putting is not bad, once you figure out the formulas. Bunkers are easier than chipping. The not good: Chipping is not good. Very inconsistent and makes no sense. Hitting from the rough is way too penalizing. The avatar looks like they modeled it after a 30 capper. Lol.

I downloaded that one a while back, played for a bit but never really got deep in to it (pun not intended). I'll give it another go.
