Hello Everyone,

Does anyone carry 3 wedges (52*56*60*) along with a game improvement factory gap wedge?

I just ordered a new set of Sim2's and with the GW at 49*, I think (52*56*60*) would workout. I currently do not use my factory GW and carry a (50*54*60*).

Thanks for any input.
Rocky

I carry 4 total wedges. Pw is part of my iron
set at about 44, gap at 48, sand 54 and lob at 58.

Whatever fills the gap and perceived need.;)

My set PW is 46, so I carry 50/54/58 wedges.

Good point, I guess I should have asked about carrying 5 wedges (PW, GW, 52* 56* 60*)

I personally only go 2 non set wedges:

Set PW (46*) and AW (51) and then go with a Cleveland 56/60, both of the full face.

For me, the set wedge is mostly just full or 3/4 shots so the added forgiveness is more needed than the versatility I might get from a blade type GW.

Carry the exact same set up, but I think my PW is at 43 I believe.

I carry my matching PW from Cally as well as a 50*-54* - 60*.

I have struggled controlling my distance on my blade style wedges once I go to a full swing. I think by adding my GW for longer shots and having the versatility of using different shots with the wedges might help with my short game..

I carry a 45* PW, 48* GW, 52*, 56*, 58*, and 60* 😅

TBH, I like having full swing distances from 60-130 yards but I will probably get rid of 1 or 2 wedges when I upgrade and figure out my gapping needs.

I carry my wedge set of 52, 56, and 60 them the pw that's ( I think) a 45. There's quite a gap for distance between my pitching wedge and the 52 but it has only come up few times.

Set pw is 45*, I have a 50* gw and a 56* sw. That's it. If I decide to change it up I may go 52/58 instead of 50/56. At least for now I don't need any more than that.

52 and 58. 52 is the factory iron Gap wedge (Rocketbladez tour...not really full GI but not really a players CB either).

I carry 4 wedges, the PW (44) & AW (50) are part of the set of irons and the 54 & 58 are Callaway MD4 wedges

46 -52 -58

Though I play 4 46-50-54-58 occasionally‐ if the course dictates greenside difficulty

I used to carry a GI 48 degree gap wedge with 52, 56 and 60 and loved that setup. Right now I have the same Irons but dropped the 48 and go from my 45 P wedge to 50, 54, and 60.

I prefer the previous setup and will probably go back to a GI or cavity backed gap wedge with 52,56,60 wedges on my next set.

I'm not fond of new trend of pumped up lofts for irons. It makes it very difficult to gap your clubs at the bottom with wedges and top with woods. Right now I am carrying two gap wedges. 😂 One is 48* and the second is 52*. Some iron sets you have to completely reconfigure your wedges or woods to gap distances well. 😝

I never got along with my set GW so I roll with PW (43*) and my SM8's at 49*, 54*, and 58*. My 54* is my workhorse from 115 and in with the 58* being used for flops or out of the bunker. The 49* is 140-115.

GW is 48, then I carry a 54 and a 58.

43* set PW
48* set GW
53* specialty SW
58* specialty LW

Set PW is 45*. Carry non-set wedges in 50, 54 and 58 in addition to the PW.

It’s all about distance gaps and how you use the wedges, not loft gaps.

For instance I play 51/55/62 because of how I use my PW versatility wise and what it lest me do versatility wise into the wedges as well. Imo, too many get hung up on “having” to play specifically gapped lofts instead of finding out what works best for them.

I carry a set-matched PW, and then a 52*, 56* and 60*.
