That L2 trade is suspect at best imo. I get that each owner manages their team as they see fit, but you can’t convince me that’s a balanced trade.
To play devils advocate (and only that reason) I can see a little bit.
Hill has not been announced when the return is (although most think its this week or next)
Preston has been deemed by most "experts" the player to watch on that team.
Before injury, Engram was solid.
Tevin Coleman isn't worth as much as people are crediting him in my opinion.
With that said, its hard to see value in having 3 Dolphins on a roster, most of which are not tradable and dumping a player that you have held through the entire injury all of the sudden all to get a single player in Elliott back. I would rate it similar to the Raiders trading for Antonio Brown.
I agree though, teams should be allowed to manage the way they seem fit and I have been asked to reach out to both owners and have done so.
