Magnets are patented and cost money to use.
 
I am pro-magnet, when I remove my cover I prefer to magnet it to the cart or a club so I don't lose it.

Velcro is dumb. Velcro is noisy. Velcro is scratchy.

I have one with a zipper. Even velcro is better than that.
 
I wish I was crafty enough to retro fit nasty velcro with a magnet closure. It can't be rocket surgery.

Agreed. I much prefer magnets.
 
I absolutely agree, and I am strongly considering changing the Velcro on my cover out for magnets. The headcover is nice quality, so I think it’s worth trying. And to be clear, when I say changing it out, I mean asking my skilled wife to help change it out 😂
 
They are the worst.
 
There have been many fun Scotty covers I have completely based on because Velcro is stupid.

do you have info on this patent response? Seems not too effective for all the magnetic covers I see everywhere.

Velcro beings only on little kids and old people’s shoes..
 
I had to check … mines magnetic,

Velcro isn’t bad …
magnetic can and do fall off
It won’t be silenced ! Dammit
 
Don't buy cheap putter is you don't want cheap headcovers.
 
Also , some gloves are velcro flap ………🧤

I was told that Scotty believes magnets can pick up metal shards/shaving and negatively affect the putters by scratching or worse and therefore won’t do magnetic covers.
