4. Salt Lake Country Club
5. Wolf Creek (Mesquite)

Course I rate in my personal top 5 are those that I have played on a more regular basis, and gain a better understanding of shot options and creative ways to play. I also much prefer fast and firm conditions. With that in mind here we go.

1. Kingsley Club (MI)
2. Chambers Bay
3. Greywalls (Marquette Golf Club)
4. The Olde Farm (Bristol, VA)
5. Emirates Golf Club (Majlis Course)

I am not a very well traveled golfer so here is my list in no order.

Briggs Ranch - San Antonio, TX
Bay Hill - Orlando, FL
Olde Mill - Laurel Fork, VA
Boulder Creek - Streetsboro, OH
Deer Ridge - Bellville, OH

1) TPC Sawgrass
2) Harbor Town
3) Firestone South
4) Firestone North
5) The Virtues (Nashport, OH)

Crowbush Cove
Whistling straits
Baltusrol lower
Laval Sur le Lac Blue
Torrey Pines South

Torrey just included for name , it's not one of the top 5 courses I've played but it has cred

I wish that I’ve played more courses to make a more fun list between private and public.

Ive only played three private courses but they are EASILY the best courses I’ve ever stepped foot on

Ballyhack
Hideaway - Clive
Hideaway - Dye

I could never play another private course again and be completely content with those three. Some of the best golf experiences of my life.

My public courses are:

True Blue
Cog Hill - Dubsdread
Circling Raven
Coeur d’Alene Resort
Ko Olina
(I would absolutely knock one of these off for Caledonia, but we only got to play four holes before lightning kicked us off the course)

1- Kiawah
2- Dormie Club
3- Olympia Fields
4- Briggs Ranch
5- Firestone North

Kingsbarn, Royal Troon, Hazeltine, White Bear Yacht Club, Old Course,

Kingsbarn, Royal Troon, Hazeltine, White Bear Yacht Club, Old Course,
Just stumbled across this thread from a month ago, but here goes…...

Inverness Club, Toledo, Ohio
TPC Sawgrass, Ponte Vedra, FL
Scarlet Course, Ohio State Univ.
Manakiki GC, Cleveland, Ohio
Donald Ross Course, French Lick, Ind.
TPC River’s Bend, Mainville, Ohio

Unfortunately, each of these was a “one-time only” round…..

No order but,

Pinehurst No. 2
Pine Needles
Kiawah Ocean Course
Torrey Pines
Ranchero Santa Fe

And I love folk listing Myrtle Beach Caledonia, a great course among so many great courses there!
