What category of equipment do you most often have to talk yourself out of hoarding?

Six drivers. Two are newer, the rest are older but I rotate them in sometimes.

The answer is putters. But I’ve also gone from 2 bags to 5 in the last month so…

putters and drivers shafts have always been it for me. Have too many (than I should at least) as it is and always want more.

Irons. I am a total golf iron-phile.

Between what I have at home in TN and whatʻs in storage in FL - I probably have about 10 full sets of irons, and a bunch of scattered others.

Old blades, 90s clubs...doesnʻt matter. I love them all.

Also - 90s Big Bertha drivers and metal woods. I think I have at least one each of the OG, Warbird, Great, Biggest, Hawkeye, Steelhead, 460, and C4 drivers. I also have at least one BB 2 wood (The Deuce), 3 wood, 5 wood, 7 wood (Heavenwood), 9 wood (Divine 9), and 11 wood (Ely Would).

Oh yeah...putters too. I have 6 Bullseye putters (all John Reuter Jr designs...still havenʻt bought a Scotty one), a couple 8802s, and some other odds and ends.

Do shoes count? That takes some effort. I could fill multiple closets quickly if I'm not diligent.

I don't hoard the rest. If it's not getting used, it's gone.
Is it considered Hording, or stocking up for U @OldandStiff ? 😉

Iron sets, but I don't discriminate and will hoard fairway woods as well. I like mostly older stuff and am pretty good about selling newer items that aren't being used.

Typically nothing but currently it's wedges. I've current got 3 right now I need to sell 2 of them. I like having money for new clubs. More than a bunch of wedges sitting around collecting dust.

The only equipment I really hoard are putters lol. I have a couple golf bags but that’s about it

At one time it was Scotty Cameron putter covers. That and putters. Had 35 putters and I dare not talk about the amount of covers. That was a past life, now down to one Scotty putter (custom)and a couple covers. As you get older you tend to come to grips with "needs vs. wants". But my bourbon will not be a victim of said comment.

Wedges. I like to have sand/lob wedges for practice that match my gamers so end up with too many.

Putters, I have over 30. Mostly dalehead Ansers.

I find myself looking at wedges more than others.

Wedges. I love experiencing wedges so it’s hard to not hoard them.

(I’d say putters, but I’m not very good at talking myself out of those so not sure that counts)
