Thanks! I've worked really hard since I began this journey. I'm just hoping for the day the whole bag works. It seems long clubs work...irons quit. Irons start to work...long sticks fail me. Drives me crazy sometimes but man I love it. It's like going for a walk in beautiful park with squirrels and bunny rabbits and birds...and then there's this fascinating game to play while you meander through it. Ha!

No Problem Blue Arc normally I would be making my usual Wed Round post but on my day off I am staying home with a slight summer cold, never ever hope to have one of these again, my 1st and last time not too bad cause I will be golfing 36 holes friday and sat this week :banana:

Hey Mike Look at my post count when I get to 360 will I be congratulated ? or 400? gues the one before this was 360 oops :laugh:

I've had that too lately AK, I start playing hoping for a great round and then just totally forget what I'm doing and lose focus. Then I start to not enjoy the game.

Dent you and AK will pick up your game again dang I'd like to shoot in the mid 40's for 9 holes and say i'm doing poorly LOL.

Good Luck jcuray! I got 18 Sunday. May just be the day! Ha! I'm going to try something new. I'm going to shut the round out of my mind and TRY to play every hole like it's a new game. See what happens.

That's what my girlfriend always tells me to either forget the round totally or forget the last hole altogether, funny when I don't have anything on my mind or am not thinking about anything at all is usually when I play the best also if I start good, on the 1st hole the next 17 usually go pretty well.

39 on my newly reopened home course, I always play better there since I am comfortable.
 
Played at Shirkey with MO_Hacker and a buddy of his. We agreed not to post our scores! I will however say he did better than I did! I couldn't find the fairway all day. I'd hit hit left, so I'd aim to the right and slice it even further right! Then I would aim left and hit it more left! A few times I would aim way right and actually put it down the center of the fairway. I don't think I ever aimed left and got it in the short stuff. Makes for a lot of shots where you can either chip it back onto the fairway or try something stupid. Guess which one I did most of the time! Shirkey is a long course that I would have been better off playing from the whites.

Shot a 40 in league play and lost to a guy probably close to three times my age by a stroke.
 
-1 on the back for a 35 to go with a 42 on the front for a career low 77 at clear creek golf club.
 
I shot a 2 over par 38 today at Gentz Homestead. It's only a 9 hole course.
 
92 3 off pace of my best personal round but when playing with Kat0677 who shoots a 77 I felt like :poop:

Second day in a row I shot terrible, although I did get a 47 on the back nine. I need to get my driver figured out. I hit it well, I just have no idea where it is going to go. It seems to go left when I am setting up to fade it, and if I set it up to pull it left (not draw, pull), it seems to go right. If I set it up down the middle it can go anywhere. This is a new problem that needs to stop immediately! I would prefer to go back to my predictable SLICE because I always knew it was going to happen. So I would play it and hit a lot of fairways. With this, it's just frustrating.

On the bright side, MO played great!
 
The double cross is the tough one Smalls. You will get it figured out.

shot 35 today. 1 under. i am finally starting to play decent golf again. yesterday shot 79 from the tips at a course i have never played before. it was really windy, i didn't really warm up much, and i still left a lot out there. hopefully my handicap will start to lower and get down around scratch over the next month or 2

I am officially struggling now. Played today, shot 94 on a course I have only played once before. Still, this is awful. We got a rain shower and then the sun popped back out. 100+ with 90% humidity is not something you usually get in Arizona, but we got it. I just wilted in the heat going double, double, double after finding 7 bunkers in the last 9 holes.
 
Played Hartford today for the 1st time, I found it incredibly easy with ultra wide fairways. Only trouble spots was a lot of bunkers around the greens & I hit my share of them. Tee'd off at 5:00 pm & was done at 7:00, that's my fastest 18 hole rd ever & I didn't think I was rushing at all. Shot the same score front & back, 42 for an 84 total.
