I feel ya, the weather is taking a big turn toward winter later this week when that Michigan stuff blows over this way.Jealous of all of you who are still playing. We had snow flurries, rain, and a lot of wind today. We've been averaging about 12-18 degrees colder than normal the last week and the forecast is for it to continue.
The only thing I "shot" today was a blue jay that was scaring all the other songbirds off the bird feeder.
We have separate suet feeders for the Jay's. I'm just glad I have a fox nearby to clean up the squirrel carcasses from my sunflower seed feeders!

Got in a zone today that I wish I could never get out of. 31 - 35 - 66. Personal bests a plenty. Best 18 hole score, 9 hole score and number of birdies in a round. 8 birdies, 8 pars and 2 bogeys. Longest birdie putt made was maybe 10 feet if that.

Back to reality and a more typical round for me. 38 - 37 - 75. 2 birdies, 11 pars and 5 bogeys.
Fun day at Orange County National. Brought my neighbor who has not played golf in 7 months out. Crooked Cat, range balls and lunch special for $39. 
42/40 82 for me. Rough start. Missed so many good putts. Moved up and played the whites for him. He had a blast and shot a 98. Course was in excellent shape and paired up with two guys from CT. Breezy and not hot. And missed all the rain.

Pair of 38's for a 76 at my home course, prolly call it a day after this round, never reached 50 today and expecting snow tomorrow, extended forecast looks poopy. Just not the die-hard-play-in-anything golfer anymore. Played a lot of golf this year, more fun than usual with my new set of Apex 19's, still love those sticks!!

38 - 34 - 72 (E). Birdied the 18th to get it back to even. 3 birdies, 12 pars and 3 bogeys.
Played a 2 day 36 hole game with 12 friends shot 148 par was 144 ---- 2 of my best rounds this year..........

38 - 36 - 74. Started double - bogey - par - then 3 birdies. 4 birdies, 4 bogeys and 1 double.

Tough course, so my best differential of the year. Felt good. Drove the ball more like before I got hurt and the irons are still pretty dialed in. Hit a 74' birdie putt after a fat wedge, which helped, but lipped out 3 from more reasonable ranges. They sand their greens really well, but I have a hard time reading them. Can't see the shine & color differences as easily.
By far the best stretch of golf in my entire life. 7 straight under par and 9 of last 11. If someone could explain to me why I just bought new irons when I'm playing this well, I'd love to hear it, because changing anything right now is starting to seem more and more insane.

It was solo and I stopped podting those a couple of months ago to be compliant with the rules. Some other good scores in the past few weeks playing with others have dropped it a couple of strokes though. 8 under par rounds this year with, luckily, only 2 of them playing solo. Overall, I tend to play better with others. This round was just freakishly good.
Little local course I usually don't do well at. Was doing well today, hit a real rough patch, and then mostly survived. I'll take it. Winter storm coming so just grateful to play. Not real busy for a Saturday either. Only one slow group.
+13 for 9 holes on a very easy course. Ridiculous
Surprise to find the course open for walking. Played 9. Shot 41. Fixing ball marks, I after about 1/2" I could feel the frozen layer. Nice treat to get out today.
