What did you shoot today?

Trying to get some stamina back in myefr pectoral and arm for the MC. 140 balls at short game lesson and practice then went and played 18 from 6620 yards. Shot a 78 with one blow-up hole where I scored a 7.😡 Back at it tomorrow!

37-42 for 79 today! It has been almost a year since I have broken 80. I had 8 pars in a row on the front and three putted the par 9th Lol. I had two doubles on the back. My irons are finally feeling really good and the driver was money again today. It feels good to have all of the work finally show and pay off.

Shot 83 today 41/42. It sounds worse than it really was as the wind was blowing a steady 25 with gusts. I played with my first fellow THPer @GolfTravelDude and we had a great time in the wind.
steady 25....Well my thought was 40 on exposed holes and 25 inland holes...But what a great day. Chef23 was fabulous host. His club is special. Thank You. My card said 92.

Not going to focus on me in here today, going to highlight my buddy Adam who has become one of my regular playing partners. His best round at my home course is a 73, but his potential is WAY better than that. He usually has a decent nine and then just loses his brain for a few holes and ends up in the mid to high 70s. Not today.

He holed out greenside from the bunker on 9 for eagle, and then birdied 10 to get to 4 under and was on the cusp of unraveling hahaha - new territory for him. HUGE par save on 11 after blasting a birdie putt by the hole. Coasted pars til the 15th where he made a great chip beside the cup for birdie. Then we went on a three hole emotional team ride to make sure he missed small and gave par a fair shot on each hole.

-5 PB. Dirty. Super proud of him.

I get sick of me and my scores so I haven't been posted all of them lately, but this combined 9's was with the T100-Modus 115X irons and brand new MG3 wedges, the hooligans, and a scorching start, so I want to remember it. Also, I haven't made a bogey in 54 holes, so there's that. Driver feels like it's back in a groove after a little weird stretch, everything else still good. That is all.
You must stop posting these low scores as it makes us all jealous of your ability to go low. But I am living vicariously though you anyway. Thanks for the boost today.

Interestingly, I'm working on that first part right now. Looking for a course nearby we can go to that's more unfamiliar, mostly blind off the tee, crooked with big elevation changes, and .. slow greens? Kind of in the mood to get my ass handed to me by a course this week.

40 on the front this evening just didn’t give myself any birdie putts within 25’. Left a lot of strokes out there. Only finished 5 holes on the back where I was +1. Ended up putting the driver in the bag & hit 3w off the tee with very good results.

Played Spyglass Hill and it beat me up! Ended up with a 92, with a 9 on the card LOL. 2 of the prettiest par 3’s I’ve ever played, hit 2 good tee shots in, lipped out for birdie on one, drained the birdie on the other, so pretty happy.

yes...that course does kick ones ass...

I'll play it again someday...not quite done with it...

Played in a 4BBB mixed competition at our club with Jen on Saturday afternoon and kept my own ball score separately as well - shot 77 which included a lost ball on the par 5 15th hole after not being able to find my tee shot, which was annoying as it was down the left side, and the only reason we couldn't find it must have been the small mound with rough on it and the ball had buried itself somewhere on it

49/43 for a 92. This course has been kicking my butt lately, I still have two more chances this week to get my revenge. 9/14 FW, 5/18 GIR, 32 putts. 5 double bogeys on the front, only one on the back.

My game has been in a frustrating spot lately - I don't have one particular weakness, I find different ways to screw up every hole. Hit a bad drive and I'm in trouble right from the get go. Hit a decent drive, then screw up the approach shot. Get close to the green and chili dip a chip shot. Get a GIR and 3 putt. Always something.

Went out after work to play 9 holes and shot level par - 1 birdie, 1 bogey and 7 pars
Could have been 1 shot better if I had hit my birdie putt a bit firmer on the 1st, or started it a fraction more to the right.....greens were slightly slower due to the cooler evening and were just starting to get a bit of moisture on them and the putt broke across the hole

40/38 78 7 over, the greens had been worked on so putting and chipping was a little pot luck. Driver behaved for a change the rest was all a bit meh. Hopefully the greens improve for the weekend.

A good weekend posting an 80 and 82. Lost a few off the tee but the wedges were on point. I know I am chaotic off the tee, especially with my driver, but I think the bigger issue is using driver too much when a long iron would be fine, especially if my wedges are finding their targets.

89 at an amazing course

Gorgeous golf course!! Thanks for the pix...!!

I shot 41-38-79 today. Hit the ball well all the way around, but couldn't seem to get it up and down from around the greens.....1 for 9....
This has been my pattern lately. Can't seem to get the ball in the hole around the green. Short game should be the senior golfer's
best friend....instead, it's killin' me....!! :(

Shot an 85 today and last week was an 86. First time with back-to-back scores in the 80s! Been living in the 90's all summer and it has been frustrating. Was clueless off the tee, could not hit a fairway for the life of me. Recently I changed my take away where I stop about a foot from the ball and turn my lead wrist down a bit and then take club back and thru. For some reason this helps with face control as I am consistently hitting it straight or slight fade and NO HOOKS! I'm a happy camper!

Played a charity scramble today for the first time in a long time. We had me at a 3 index, a 5 index, a 15 and someone who can play but couldn’t find the ocean from a boat today. We shot 60 which was -12 and finished fourth. There was a 55, 57 and 58. It was fun but my only issue was that they basically played the event from the red tees. It would have been more fun from tees a bit farther back. Pace of play was pretty good for a scramble we got lucky and the other group on our tee box got lost on the way out and we wound up going first. At one point we were two full holes ahead of the group that started second on our tee.

It was a decent day from 6950 ;)

Shot a 83 at Watters Creek. Still getting adjusted to the weather and courses here in DFW. Also my putting needs to get better.

45/45 = 90 today. If my goal was to bring my handicap up to the hard cap, I'd be ecstatic right now.

Played Sea Island this morning where they have the tour event. Shot 74 (par 70). Really cool track. Love the lowlands/marsh look.
