What did you shoot today?

Best ball striking round of the year today. Had 15 birdie putts under 10 feet, only made 2. Nearly holed a 165 yard par 3, (6” long) Had a double and a bogie 73. Could’ve/should’ve really gone low today…

First round back since my daughter was born 👶🏼. Started birdie birdie and finished with a 34 (-2) on the front at CCN. Started on hole 9 in league. Missed just one green, burned a few edges, and dropped a 26-footer on 9 that might snag a skin. Could’ve gone really low if a couple more putts fell, but happy to be back out there!

40/41 today on a very tough track. My alignment to target at the address of the ball is so far off. I don’t know how I’m getting around the course once it’s pointed out to me. I have to get this corrected

I had good and bad today. The good was driver, 3w and short irons. The bad was long irons, which have been a strength for me for a long time.
At the range, the long irons go straight but in the course, they all go left.
Mental issues, I know.

First round back out since returning from the Morgan Cup and only went out because my oldest came home to play. Played 9 holes after work: (+2) 38 with 6/9 GIR. Just felt easy (thanks Vic).

Lost balls in 16 and 18. 12 was an exercise in how not to chip when the grain is into you.

Windy out on the course today 25 mph + on a challenging course. May be may last round prior to the WWC. Striking my irons decent, chipping isn't too bad and putting has been good. The problem is driver with a two way miss and causing too many penalties off the tee. Had a 46/50 for a 96, need to work the driver out.

69...36-33..5 birdies and 2 bodies felt good to shot in the 60's again. Large number of 70 and 71 this year but been struggling to get in 60's. Good to see the work been putting in is paying off.

It was a good morning on the course with 4 birdies, 4 bogies, and 10 pars = even.

Gather ‘round friends, and behold this unbelievable score card from today.

Worst round in a year or so. 38 putts doesn’t even count the par 3 where I dunked 2 balls and just picked up. I burned the edge on nearly every hole and then the greens were so fast I had a bunch of hard second putts. It was brutal.

Shot my personal best 79 today, and first time breaking 80! I was in a zone, shooting par on the first 8 holes and a bogey on 9 for +1 at the turn. The double-bogey blemish on #14 came on a putt that stopped 2 inches short of the cup. Feels kinda surreal when I look back on the scorecard.

Shot a 44/48 for a 92. Course was tough and somewhat long for me at just shy of 6200 yards.

Hit quite a few FIR but not many GIR and basically 2 putted everything but one hole! The back nine was super slow so any rhythm I had on the front like the FIR, GIR etc kinda went away for the first half til I settled back down some. :)

Overall not a bad day out there but it could have been better for sure! I actually felt like I played better than the score shows but I guess not!

Congrats on the personal best

I shot 90 today after 93 last Sunday. My game is a dumpster fire at a level I can’t remember. Of course my body is broken so that is probably part of it.

My handicap is trending to 7.5 after starting the year at 4.4. This is the highest my handicap has been on at least 30 years.

Congrats on the PB

We played our church's scramble today. We're a bunch of scrubs so didn't expect to do well, just getting out to have fun.

But I hit the ball as well as I have in a long time. I sh****ed a couple of wedges and had a couple of sliced drives. But overall I was hitting every club in my bag very well. It felt great.

Best part was I won a 1 year PGA Superstore Players' Club Plus Membership, worth $300. Al in all, a pretty good day.

Super windy day. Had it's ups and downs. Worst part was 43 putts on the day. Absolutely horrible. Had three lost balls with penalties as well. But this is where my game is.

I've routinely turned around my game on the back nine this year. I'm not sure what that means though. I'm routinely 7 or 8 strokes better on the back nine though, no matter the course.

Shotgun Flighted Chicago event yesterday, overall round was good but starting on 9 meant front 9 was high but back was good.

44/40 for T1 Gross, 2nd Net.

Accidentally submitted twice yesterday, one from Arccos & the competition one means a significant drop in handicap.

Early Morning Double loop of the local par 3, working on getting those GIR numbers up. 1 for 9 first loop cost me strokes and was 4 over my bogey golf goal at a +13 40.. Got dialed in for the second loop and reshot it in a much cleaner 35 with 3 of 9 GIR for an 8 over 35 one stroke better than the goal.

Side stat 3.2 miles walked, burning 1,000 calories and filling my whole exercise goal on the Apple Watch for the day, plus some. 7,000 plus steps in before 10 AM.
Plus, even in the morning chill, I stayed warm and loose. I am really starting to enjoy walking, especially my usual par 3 course round, as I have been going on it for 3 or 4 weeks now, since I needed a reset after I got back from helping my mom after my dad passed. I think I finally get why you walkers like it so much

42/38 (80) which has been one of my better rounds this year, but 2 double bogeys on the front 9 meant it could have been a lot better annoyingly

Played well on the front then my ear infection decided it doesn't like golf and just ached the rest of the round.

81. Never played so well off the tee and scored so poorly. Must have missed 6+ putts a few inches short. Apparently coming off of Victoria National that will happen.
