What did you shoot today?

44/41 = 85
4 doubles and a bogey on the front ( yes, really :poop:  )

43 on the front 9 today and went to the range to fix what was happening. Will play this evening and try to do better

Old geezer report...teed.off mid morning at city muni Hansen Dam in my senior club...promising 39 on the front, but the heat got to me a bit on the back and I sh*t the bed on 18 for a dub from the middle of the fairway courtesy of a crappy green side bunker shot and then 3 jack...got up to 94 degrees...went 39 42 81...par on 18 would have been 79,...gamed my new to me thrift store find Versa and putted slightly below average...probably just tossing it in the golf shed and returning to my mizuno 8803...4 hours 35 minutes, which is about right for a city course on a friday....super crowded ...as usual the course was in tip top shape ...played blues when I should have played my usual whites but a 92 year old cat was in my group and he played the blues so i got shamed into it.

-4 at the par 3 course today.

Shot 42 over 9 holes. Missed a couple of makeable bird putts 🥺

Played on a course that is getting ready to host an LPGA event

35/40

40 on the back 9 after finally finding my driver swing again.

today I absolutely skanked myself around the golf course with an 85. I'm ok with bad rounds but its how this one happened that bothers me. It was BAD. Drove the ball really well. Playing 6200 yards left me a lot of 54 and 58 degree wedges into greens and I left myself a lot of 50 foot putts. Bad. Not the putters fault as the story has so often been.

44-43: 87 but not bad for the middle of swing changes on a challenging course in gusty, swirling wind. With furry greens. Putting was an adventure even though they looked good. 😓

Course rating 72.9/131. Shot a 79. 38/41. Windy the whole round. Wind got crazy on the back nine. 40-50 mph winds. The wind almost blew the ball off the green on 16. Decided to take ghin scores for 17 and 18. The course became unplayable. Very happy with the score in that wind.

Super windy today - 20 mph, gusting to 35 mph.

Really easy course...but the game is trending.

Sunday's score: 39/45=84

Best front nine I've ever posted at +4. Pace got bogged down on the back nine and started losing focus and got a little sloppy. Despite the less than ideal back 9, it was a personal best of 11 pars for the day. So many chances at birdie, but punched greens can rob you that way. Also played the new Quantum Max and had a great day with it poking a few out close to 280yds. Overall it was a great day!

43 over 9 holes...I wish I could redo that 8th after the tee shot 🥺 😁

37/41 = 78
2 birdies, 3 bogies on the front 9
1 double and 3 bogeys on the back.
As usual on this course, 1:20 front and over 2hrs on the back.
Look, you old farts ( I'm almost 65 ), it's ok for you to move up a tee, especially if you can't clear the 175yd forced carries off the tee!

Shot an 84 today. 42/42/38. This in 91*f temp. Just a perfect day. Only issue was the number of lip outs (5) I had.

Played same 9 twice whle they refurbishing the other 9 holes.

Played the senior tees the first time around, and the white tees on the second time around. Theres only <10 yards difference between the two.

I'm glad our warmer weater is finally here.

I truly do love the heat. Im playing tomorrow where weather Gal says the high temp tomorrow will be 103*f. Already started hydrating.

At Rivers Edge, Needles Ca.

Played in my first 100*f day of the year today. Very little wind, and very few shade trees. Perfect weather.

41/43/33 for the effort. 33 putts was a vast improvement over my last round. Im happy with an 84, which is 5 strokes better than last time I played here. (2 weeks ago)

First time playing my high lofted metal woods after changing shafts due to a flex issue. The improvement was there, but I need more time with them.

I replaced my 60* wedge with my 2 Ironwood. I was thinking the wind might pick up, which it didnt. Wound up still hitting the 2 Ironwood several times. The firmer fairways were good for longer roll outs after the carry.

Golfed with two local snowbirds. We had a good, fun round. They leave next week to head back north. Getting too warm for them down here.

Going to give it another go in the morning, assuming my muscles, and joints are willing. 54 holes in 3 days will be a fun try.

76 with 2 doubles, 3 bogeys, and 3 birdies

40/42 for 82
Three 3 putts put a burr in my saddle

Best ball 4 some finished -5 under .

Individually , played very well , contributed one individual birdie on par 5

Long putting 6m , 5m shaving hole , one dropped

3w second shot ,couple , got out too 200 m

Happy with short game also , 15m down flag
lob wedge to 3 m away

43-38 81 Woodley whites...97 degrees no breeze...81 is a typical "middle ground" score for me...if I can chip.and putt it can be 77...if not, 84...but this round was maddening ...3 birdies and a real shot at 2 more...contrast that with 3 three putts and a triple on the long par 4 9th where I was 10 yards short of the green on a decent lie in 2...huge range of really nice shots and some total hacks...typical 4 hours 20 minute weekday muni senior round...can't recall the last 3 birdie round but I can and do shoot plenty of 78-79s without a whiff of a birdie...
