What do you use to mark your ball on the green?

I use a Casino Chip - size of about a Silver Dollar. So one of the guys in our weekly group said one day when it was on his putting line -- Dont you ever carry anything smaller ? So the next time the group played I was ready for him. I marked my ball with a DVD. - he about blew a gasket. but we all laughed at him and he never said anything ever again on marking a ball.

Funny thing is, on about 1990, when Norwich City had the Asics kit (yellow with the green diagonals on the shoulder and white with the green diagonals on the shoulder), our school had “banned” Celtic and Rangers kits, so just about everyone had both of those Norwich kits!

I use a double headed fifty cent piece I've had for at least a decade. Good size for a marker and nice conversation piece.

Used to be silver dollar coins, then an Everton FC marker till that went missing along with head cover.
Now I'm collecting poker chips from courses so have one from Sawgrass & one from Talking Stick, whichever finds hand in the rush to tee off is the winner!

I have a little magnetic thing on my ball mark repair tool and I usually have a couple of ball marks from my club in the bag. I like it to be fairly small and round to not be too visible to the eye.
