Made my (almost) daily stop at Goodwill this evening. Golf stuff pickens have been pretty slows lately. Lots of junk for sale.
As I'm walking outb on another failed mission, I'm walking by the luggage section. Out of the corner of my eye, I see this staff size golf bag wrapped in plastic.
A closer look revealed a Bag Boy Revolver XP golf bag, in mint condition. $7.00 after my 20% discount...for being old.
I checked everything out. Everything worked. Even went over to loose club bin, loaded up the bag to make sure it revolved.
This is probably going to be my new gamer bag.

Thought I buy a new Ping Bag for $8 because when I checked the zippers, the card board braces/fillers were still in all the pockets.
Once I returned home, to remove the cardboard, I found a complete set of rain gear, and pitch mark tools. Also a towel. The snap on club cover was still factory folded. Also a bunch long tees, and replacement soft spikes. With the tool.
My thoughts are this bag has been used once, or twice. Then donated.

Didn't buy today but my Cleveland CBZ wedges showed up on Wednesday. Probably won't get a chance to get them out until our AZTHP round on the 24th......

I'm almost dead certain that I'm going to love them. I've bought every model of the CBX line since their iteration (except for the CBX 4, in anticipation of this actual release). Your feedback certainly cemented my decision (especially considering that you're coming out of a more bladed model). Really excited to feel the difference in the metallurgy and some fresh grooves. I was a bit overdue on the latter.
Paid $2 to fill my range bucket up! (I pay a monthly rate for a medium daily bucket and discounted rates) So it was equal to a large bucket. Small wins.
Same. Just preordered as well.

Had to try them.
Put the combination of cabin fever, some physical pain, and really just reading all the new release articles - thanks to all the THP writers, I did a small reverse, ordered a like new condition Elyte Max Fast - I have been trying for about 2 months (the light bulb finally went on), to improve driver distance by lightening up the head of the club as well as by finding lighter weight shafts. So this club, designed to address all that (and today - or maybe beginning today) they were/are offering them at 40% off retail it just made sense.
I had $200 + in rewards points, and a gift card (actually, it was payment for participating in a flu study - that's another story altogether), burning a hole in my pocket.
Total out of pocket cost to me technically with tax $144 - but used the card to cover it.
And, worst case scenario, I have the orginal Elyte and my very Trusty C725 available as well.
Worst worst case - trade it in if I don't see what I hope to see distance wise for something a year newer that fits better. Oh boy, actually excited - and golf is now 8 days away.
