What Golf Stuff Did You Do Today?

I attempted to get in a final 9 holes on NYE after work. But I got there too late.
So I went to Golf Galaxy to look at golf bags.

Played TopGolf for the first time. Pretty fun. Will be a good alternative during cold winter days.

We've gotten a few inches of snow in the last 24 hours so it was back inside hitting into the net tonight. Used the range feature with the Rapsodo, even if I'm not sure it does much in the way of improvement.

Went to Hammock Beach. Didn’t play but made sure the facility is ready for our event coming up in Feb.

Walked 18

Played 9 this morning in 20-25 mph winds and 40 degree weather. First time I’ve played in that kind of wind here in TN. It still blows my mind how much the wind can affect the ball flight. Had a 300 yard drive thanks to wind...... next hole, par 5, into wind only went 200.

Still scored +6 gross and -3 net over 9 holes. Looking forward to the new year and getting to a single digit handicap! I went from a 20+ this year to an 11 handicap, I freaking love golf so much!

First round of the new year with my two sons (11 yr and 9 yr) on our home course in Pearland. Perfect day for golf, in upper 50s and couldn’t ask for better golf pros to do it with

Writing some preview articles for some new clubs. Who doesn't love new clubs?! 2020 looks bright, y'all.

First round of the new year. Hole 3 Par 4. Drive left me middle of fairway and 106 out. Cart GPS is wrong as the pin is in the middle. A56B4AD3-E380-449E-940B-EFFF17829450.jpeg

Played 9.

Heading out in a few minutes for some simulator grinding. I'm torn whether I want to keep formally working on my swing or simply play virtual courses. I will keep with the swing work in the spring, including additional lessons. But for a once a week winter golf activity hitting off of mats, I am not sure I want to spend so much effort on swing. I will also start another sim league in a week or so. I want to win some money, and my flawed but reliable swing usually gets the ball where I want it.

Rainy out today so just spent a little time with the MISIG and swung a weighted club. Will probably do some indoor putting before the day is over.

I will attempt to head out after work (3:00 PM) to play as many holes as I can.

Spent a little time rolling my different putters in the office.

Played some simulator golf with my mom her boyfriend and fiancé. Was a pretty good day

I went to the range and hit some balls and it didn't go to well, so I ended up just working on short game and putting. Came home and did some stretching and swing the Orange Whip in the yard. Currently watching the Sentry....

Tried to pad my post count for @Canadan contest ?

Rolled a few putts in the house and a lot of THP

Hit a large bucket at the range today under the heaters

Went to Golf & Ski Warehouse and hit the Callaway Super Hybrid, Titleist U500 in 20*, and Apex Pro with Catalyst 100 shafts. Might have played around with T20 and Jaws 5 wedges toward the end.

I hacked a round the course today. Wasn’t my day so I practiced some different shots.

Got out of work early and went to the range, then last minute decided to play twilight. Got in 11 holes, 45 on front 9 and 2 pars on 10 and 11 before it got dark.

Really starting to dial in my 4i GAPR. If I could just stop double bogeying the first two holes before I settle down, I could score so much better, I’ve literally doubled the first 2 holes for the last 5 straight rounds. Why......?
