What is casting ???? Had a couple of people tell me im CASTING ?? Thanks

Thanks for the question. Casting is most commonly referred to when the shaft of the club moves away from your body on the downswing. This leads to a loss of distance, poor contact and bad clubface control. To improve this issue you want to maintain the angle of your left wrist with the club shaft (right handed golfer) during the downswing and feel like the shaft is staying close to your body. Hope this clears up the definition of casting for you.
