What is your favorite dog breed and why?

I like them all from mixed to pure bred dogs. Welsh Corgi , a large dog personality in a small size , is my favorite breed.

Muts generally speaking.

If I had to choose probably Corgi or Valhund since all of them is not an answer.

I've had Golden Retriever's my entire life. Great dogs all around, they just shed too much :D

American pit/ Boxer
 
Rhodesian Ridgeback and or American Bully.
 
Not sure I will ever not own another Bulldog. Frank is the best. Not super easy dogs to own. They get mad at you and hold grudges and are stubborn. But they love you so much and are really smart and sweet.

We have had several pure breds, and genuine mutts over the years. Loved them all very much. Still miss them all.

The "mutts" were the easiest to take care of. They were the "lower maintenance" of the two.

If I had to go out and get a dog right now, I'd go to the dog pound, and find a young, good size mutt to spend the rest of our time together.
 
Hard to pick. Had a poodle as a kid that saved my life. Good girl!

Pitties out of breed's I've had, doberman for the breed I'd love to have in the future
 
I have a lab/husky and a pure bred GSD at home so if I have to pick one, I will pick German Shepard since thats the only pure bred dog I've ever had. But you put any dog in front of me, and that's my favorite at the moment lol
 
Beagle, all around great dog and companion. The one I owned did not have a mean bone in his body. Lived to be 12 and was hands down the best dog I have had.

Boxers & Doberman's. I have a few of each. Love them both.

Chihuahuas. We have 1 full and 2 mixed breeds. If something is going to sit on my lap, it better be small.
 
Labs! Playful as puppies and still have energy as they age. Amazing with kids and very loyal.

I've been Type I diabetic since I was 4 yrs old. I was about 12 yrs old and went into low sugar coma in the middle of the night.
The dog slept with me and she ran and barked and woke my parents up.
I guess they have service dogs for some T1 kids now. Makes sense. They didn't have that back then.
I had Ginger. :cool:

Ginger was as good as it gets !
 
Yellow Labs. We’ve had two and they are smart, mellow, funny, and loyal.
