Got home from work and found my new putter from callaway was delivered. Blue,micro hinge, stroke lab 2 ball, 34” with super stroke flatso 1.0. Perfect timing....4 consecutive days of golf booked starting tomorrow!!

The only putters I ever use nowadays are my old bronze Ansers from the 70's with Pingman grips. I have three of them, almost identical, and my two favorites I'll switch back and forth between every few weeks or months.

Last night I decided to take my third Anser, the one I least often use, and put one of the Lamkin Deep Etched grips on there. I used to like that style of grip before I got addicted to the Pingman. Figured I'd try it in today's round.

Fast forward to today, I got called into dealing with some last minute work stuff before I could get out the door to go play golf. Totally forgot I meant to switch the regripped Anser with the Lamkin grip into the bag. Rushed to the course, no time to warm up or even roll any putts and wouldn't you know it...had my best putting round in at least a year. Make half a dozen putts between 10-25 feet plus lagged it stone dead couple times from 50-70 feet.

I think the Universe is trying to tell me something. Stick With The Pingman, Stupid!!!

I got this putter for a steal. I have loved it ever since..Nike unitized Leo. I am loving the slightly lighter over all weight, it has a super soft but solid feel that is very unique due to the welded neck. It’s pretty awesome for an old putter.

Plus it is completely naked with no alignment aids.

Have the Betti, Yes! Abbie Forged, and the Ping Anser Milled in the living room.
Hadn't touched the Ping for a long time. Long neck/FB like Morikawa's putter inspired some time for fun. Lighter head at 335g and the Pingman grip is like a pencil compared to my others. Fun brain shock. Nice balance. Light grip pressure.

Taylormade juno. A recent addition to my bag. Played it at 34 3/4" for a few rounds. Down to 33 1/2" and some extra wraps to thicken the grip slightly.

It’s a nice putter but I hate the Fatso 5.0 grip. I’m more of a 3.0 guy but my kid has that one.

Nice putter, been told it’s Bettinardis softest face ever. Plays that way, just don’t like the grip. I lose feeling on longer putts.

I keep going between the flatter/rounder slim 1.0 on my Betti and the Pingman pistol shapes in reg and mid.
I wouldn't mind trying one of the Super Strokes in the pistol shape for best of all worlds? That one is on my radar.
