I love whats in the bag in golf digest and I love to see how far the pros hit certain clubs. That got me to thinkin and I'd like to know how far everyone on THP hits the clubs in there bag. Please list away!
 
Driver - 280
3 wood - 255
5 wood - 230
3 hybrid - 210
5 iron - 195
6 iron - 183
7 iron - 172
8 iron - 155
9 iron - 145
pw - 135
gw - 120
sw - 110
Lw - 95

All of these distances I'd consider "shag bag" swings. Like 85%... not ripped, but not sawed off.

3W: 200-220?
3H: 190-200
4H: 180-190
5H: 170-180
6i: 160
7i: 150
8i: 140
9i: 130
PW: 110-120
GW: 90-95
SW, GW: I don't really take full swings with these.

I have some known gap issues. Mostly because I don't hit mid-irons well.

Driver - 250 (this one has a lot of variability obviously)

5 wood - 215ish (I really need to drop this for a 3 hybrid since I never hit it to get roll but usually to reach a green when my 4 won't get it there)
4 hybrid - 200
5 hybrid - 180
6 - 165
7 - 155
8 - 145
9 - 135
PW - 125
AW - 115
SW - 105
LW - 80


With the irons those are the distances I'll clearly play those. The gaps in the irons are when I have a decision to make and it's mostly if I'd rather be a little short or a little long on the hole.

I like carrying lesser clubs because generally I wouldn't hit many of them(plus I dont have to carry them around) and it forces me to play some different types of shots.
 
I wish I could hit it as far as most of you guys. Its awesome to me that so many on here are longer than most of the pros we have played with. I have to get my swing checked out I think because my irons all seem to match with everybody's distances, and yet my driver is always 30-40 yards behind what everybody hits when we have these threads.

Me too, I see iron yardages that are similar to mine, but my 250-260 yard drives are 30 yards behind most of these guys. Oh well.
 
You're not short off the drives at all though. I use GPS to measure but it's always possible it's wrong.

Nah, Yoccos, you are longer than me by a little bit. We saw that at the first outing.
