What's the number? If you won the lottery tomorrow, what's the number you would just quit/retire and play golf all the time?

600k after taxes. Theres no working from me ever again

I have always said, a year's salary and I would leave my job lol.

Retire for good? 2 million bucks. Enough to pay off the mortgage, and keep me on the golf course.
I think I’m with you here. 2m lets me pay off the house and then invest the rest and live off that.

Watch my numbers hit since I forgot to stop.

100% this. Enough to start the passive income that keeps things paid for.

$75 million. I'm pretty confident that I'll be making a lot of $ in future.

We talking the raw lottery number or take home after all the taxes and misc fees and such? :D

I don’t really need that many fancy things. Like you said, just keep me on the course (and pay for the kiddos 🤣)

I'm thinking 20Mill after taxes and all. Put 10 in an account and live off the interest. 10 mill to pay things off and get living where I want to live.

5 mil post tax. I would invest 90% of it and live off the interest and profit.

Probably $25mil. We'd have to work out a schedule for THPers to be my guest at The Hideaway.

I can make it happen with 2 million but would want 5-10 million to be safe. Anything more than that it’s extra given my debt and lifestyle

5 million after tax

A lot of low numbers here. I’m shocked to be honest

The number is whatever puts me at the Hideaway all winter.

That's the number. Lol.

I only play the lottery when it’s over 200 million because then I would win enough to just pack up and retire to a private island (or at the least buy my own golf course to retire too)

15-20mil. Moving to a temperate climate that would allow for daily golf, keeping a house in CO, pay off all debt, and funds to travel with… that’s probably a good number.

5 mil would be quite enough, but ideally 10 mil after taxes. Gives me some solid investment options and a nice contingency fund.

$10m. I could keep my lifestyle for $3-5m with no worries if I was smart. But im not that smart and $10m would make it comfortable.

5 million and I should be able to fly back home once a year as well.

$8M. That would let me setup $1,500,000 trusts for my kids to get when they are 45. That gives me and the Mrs. $5M to invest, golf, travel, and have a hell of a time.

1 million would lead to a career change that has more time for golf.

5 million and I'm retired and just playing golf.

5 million for me.

This is a good answer!
