What's the worst color for a golf ball to be?

Srixon Q Star Divides the Blue/Yellow combo are hard to find if the blue side is up....I will say blue is toughest to find....

Green or the burnt orange color.

im probably in the minority here but i really dont care for yellow at all

Matte red. It’s nearly impossible to track and find. And I’m in no way colorblind.

I have seen black golf balls and i agree, i can't imagine using them

Black seems like the lowest visibility other than green. In the offseason though tan could be really bad too.

50/50 split with 2 different colors

The worst for being able to find a ball is the gold ones that Vice made a few years ago. They were so hard to find in the rough. No contrast with the ground whatsoever.

A surprisingly bad color is red. One would think it would be great, but they are hard to see against the grass also.

I find during the winter when grass is dormant yellow balls really pop, but once verything greens up, white is the best color.

Any bright colored ball.

green by far

Im anti all non white golf balls..... but a buddy of mine uses the Vice balls and they're impossible to find during the fall. He used the gold one and if it wasnt in the fairway then it was lost

also the matte finish balls are harder to find without that reflection from the sun

dark green I'd imagine. I've seen people use blue and purple too that can be pretty tough to spot.

Red would also be pretty bad for those who have color issues.

Green and orange seem like they could be an issue to see

Beat me to it. Was coming to post this exact ball. I like the paint splatter but this color is awful.
It’s like elf puke

I've hit a couple dark blue and black ones that are just visually insulting to try to see in the air lmao

Hate them.

I have played them all, and at my age, certain colors are a no-go. Black is bad, but not many companies make/sell this color. Second is Blue, impossible to see in the air, but findable on the ground. Third is Red, also hard to see in the air, but glows on the ground making it easy to find (unless in heavy brown leaves, then impossible).
Green is easy to see in the air and on the ground (not sure why people hate this color).

Blue might be the most difficult for me to see. Lose it in the air and can never see it on the turf.
Green close second, because well, grass.

I used to be against white for a long time, preferring Red. Really though that was because it was quicker for me to identify my red ball, instead of going up and having to check every white ball I came across.

Really is interesting that Red has as many votes as it does. I get it and I don't at all disagree, but being opposite of green it would make sense it stands out more. Then on top of all of this I never once gave thought about those who are color blind. Which I should have given another project for curling telecasts I worked on which was all about just that.

Black.

It’s so stupid.

But it’s Vice, so what do you expect?

Black or gold. Both vice both impossible to find.

Blue. Might as well pull another ball out. It’s as good as gone if I even go a yard off of fairway.

These really bother me when looking at them on a course. Hell, even looking at it on the forum bugs the crap out of me.
