What's the worst putter shape (for you) you have tried?

Ping Anser style putters. Too little, no confidence. Give me a fat mallet.

Totally agreed. Fat is where it is at when it comes to putting.

#7 fang style. I love the way they look, but for some reason, it never works out for me.

The 8802 shape. Just can't deal with that much hang.
^This^

I also have a Wilson 8802 in my collection (mostly just to say "I own one"). I can't putt worth a damn with it.... :(
I mean, sheesh... 90° full toe hang, straight down pointing at the floor. I don't have THAT much of a "swinging gate" putting stroke!

Fang shaped.... i can't really get past the look at address..... there is just way too much going on with the arse end of the putter head for me....

Based on how bad of a putter I am I have to say all of them. 😫

Any LARGE Mallet that looks like a satellite antenna.
There are a lot of them around. Scotty Futura, LAB, Ping had some weird ones.
I can putt pretty well with just about anything, Anser, Rossie, 8802, Fang, #9 etc, but those giant pop art things are a nogo.

Blade putters just don't work for me.
Not a fan of the look or feel of them.

Give me a mallet all day long.

The PING DS72 C center-shafted putter. I bought it at PGA Superstore for $79 in as-new condition, figuring I'd try it and then sell it for at least that.

The shape of the head wasn't too bad, but the position of the shaft was just icky...

Its been a while, but way back when, (early 1990s) there was a triangle shaped putter, with little white circles for aim lines that didnt agree with me. I dont remember the name of it. I won it in raffle at a charity event

I just couldnt make putts with it. My failure with it turned out to be a good thing though.

I needed a putter I could roll balls on my line. I was in a hurry. I went to local Roger Dunn golf shop, and in a bargain bin I found a Zone 1, blade type putter for like $10, or $15. That Zone 1 putter stayed in my bag for well over 20 years, until a freak accident made it unplayable.

FGP or a standard blade shape. I need all the help I can get

Anything mallet.

Anything with a plumbers neck or with a single bend/double bend shaft. My eye needs a straight shaft and a symmetrical design.

Well as bad as I hate to admit it, but it was a blade today!
I’ll use a mallet next round.

Strangely jailbird I seem to struggle with

Fangs, I can't control the face at all.

Odyssey Three T

I've only played blade putters, with the exception of playing Bullseye putters in the 70s/80s. Anyway, I really liked the look of the Three T and when Odyssey came out with the Milled version I just had to have one. I didn't get one right away but I did get a new one eventually. It just didn't work for me. The head felt too light, and the balance felt off. I just couldn't get comfortable with it, so it's gone.

S2S jailbird I just can’t make it work

Any mallet putter. It's a visual and weight thing for me.

I’m equally terrible with the 8802/Napa or the Bullseye style heads. Love the look, hate the results.
