I’m curious, what is the cut off temp for you when playing in the cold?

The winter season and cold temps are slowly creeping up here in Missouri, though I still go out as often as I can as long as the sun is shining. Where do you draw the line?

32*F

Under 50, no sun, and more than 10mph of wind.

As a general rule, 50 degrees for me. Have gone a little lower in sunshine and very little to no wind.

I will play in the 40s if I am walking and have the cart mittens (BagBoy) for my use this year. Bought some hand warmers as well so might be watching snow fly shortly.

Under 40 and it go dicey when I lived in Ohio. Now under 60 is rough here in Florida.

Depends on the wind. I have no problem playing where the temperature is in the 30s with little or no wind. I didn’t play this morning because the temperature was in the high 30s with winds gusting up to 30 mph.

If it's 40 with no wind and sunny, I'll play.

Anything colder than that, or lots of wind, forget it.

Never. If the course is open, just layer up and enjoy being out on a course even if you can’t really play properly due to 19 layers

55 degrees and it better be sunny

Have no issue playing done in the mid 30s if the wind isn’t blowing.

Wind is more of an issue than cold really.

I will typically only play if it will be 40 degrees or higher. I have teed off in 37 degree weather, but knew it would warm up above 40. If it's windy (over 10 MPH) and 45 or less, not likely.

I usually play in 40+ w/ no rain.

About 50 is when I start taking sun and wind into the equation.

The answer has changed a bit since I was younger, but these days anything under 50° is out.

I'll tee off in the low/mid 30s if it's sunny, calm and dry, and it's going to warm up later.

I’m going with 45. Feels like 40. Did that recently and honestly “I’m good”. I don’t need to golf that bad.

Under 50 if it’s cloudy and windy under 40 if the suns out

When below 40* Then I have to bundle up too much and don't like it. Fortunately we rarely have those days in SoCal.

Sun and wind are bigger factors for me - I can go 30’s if it’s sunny and not windy.
