When was the las time you lost your driver swing?

The last four months.

Every year, from November till about the following April…

About every 2nd or 3rd round it will disappear like a fart in the wind.

I went from driving the ball exceptionally well to driving it worse than I have in some time. My last 3 rounds were not good, and poor driving was one of the culprits.

Crazy thing is that I know exactly why - I'm not getting my weight to the left side, and my timing and sequencing are off. Knowing it and fixing it are two different things...

Right now 😭. I made a comment about a month ago in a thread about impact location that “I hadn’t hit a ball heel side in over a year”

Famous last words. I’m practically hitting the adapter right now and can not for the life of me get back out towards the toe. Blowing through headcover set just outside the ball on impact drill to keep you from extending the club to far out.

I’ve about decided I’m going to have to use a brick so my mind will do everything it can to keep me from crashing into the brick and breaking the club.

I will trade you. My last two rounds I can't seem to get away from the toe no matter how I set up. I have gone as far as setting up to hit the ball with the hosel and still out on the toe.

Been lost for 3 months. Nothing but weak-ass duck hooks that are falling out of the sky.

Probably 5ish years ago. I couldn't find a way to not snap hook the driver. I'd make 10 iron swings all with a great flight, then immediately snap hook the driver. I just could not figure it out.

It's still an issue, but has slowly gotten way better. I think the big thing I realized was needing a much heavier head weight for the driver to help control my quick transition and flippy hands.

Sometimes it seems like every other round. Something about the big size of the heads for modern dirvers. I just haven't gotten used to it. Maybe that's why I have so many mini drivers. :ROFLMAO:

It happened to me last year and I never got to the point where I felt like I owned it last year.

A long time ago I was playing in match play in the State Am. I was 2 up through 7 holes and totally lost my swing. I was 2 down with 3 to play and found it again. I managed to get to the 18th hole but lost 1up.

My swing is broken right now.

Omg I found it again and it's glorious.

Like just out of nowhere something just broke?
Thursday. And it was just.... gone. My approach game kept me in it, salvaging par after par. I had a 5 stroke lead going into 16. Then the wheels came off of everything, he made an eagle on 18 and I lost by a stroke. Not a choke, a breakdown.... Sim in the AM with my buddy to see WTF is going on..... IF its still going on. These things can disappear as quickly as they appeared.

So many days, it would be easier saying the last time I had a decent driver swing

this question is completely offensive.

Unfortunately my last round. Front nine was good, finished +8 on #2 and then on the 12th hole, really good drive, got super quick with GW and it was the end of my driver swing as well. Horrible. Shot a 56 on the back 9.
