Hahah. Yes I have looked at their stuff. Not my thing generally.
Got one shirt from them and it was fine, albeit very Loud Mouth golf like.
I have enjoyed the extreme high quality of Straight Down, much like Peter Millar (although better) and have 5-6 of their shirts already. Most of which are very tame.

For me, the purple would be more of a standout vs what I would normally wear color wise and the patterns are pretty cool with the palm trees. I would go that way if I wanted something that stands out and is different. BTW, I have one of their polos in a palm pattern in navy blue and love it!!!!!

Whatever the salesman told you fits your color scheme! I was told i look best in turqoise, or black and white because of my skin color and hair color.

Also i have a green and pink polo i call it my watermelon shirt.
