the only legit answer, the original and pionneers, has to be a LAB (and many to choose from now). Imitators will never be as good, cause they didnt have to spend all the time or research into the subject matter, it will be 3-4 years till the imitators start to be at LABs level with Zero Torque Putters, so LAB has an advantage for the next few years for sure.
Lab wasn’t first. Odyssey did a line of toe up putters in 2016. Lab was founded in 2018.

I own two LABs (different putting styles) and like them a lot. I like the look of the Spider ZT but I am sticking with the putters I have for now.

I have both a regular DF3 and an OZ broomstick. If I get anything new, it will be either one of the new odysseys or the OZ HS

After hitting them against each other, I aimed the OZ HS better, but the roll and feel on the Odyssey was just perfect. If the Rossi Tri-Hot had triple track on the back side, I might have pulled the trigger today

I had a bit of a look at the Oz.i HS at the golf shop the other day and it just sits so closed to my eye. Not sure I could get used to that.

Odyssey, because nothing else feels as good as the Tri-Hot insert.

I've tried the TM and LAB Oz.1...so far, it's been the TM by far.

Tm insert has felt very good to me. It's a weird looking putter but not like the Oz is a looker either

Still Odyssey.

I am wondering if there are going to be more ZT in the putters that we have not seen yet from Odyssey. I am one of the weird people who like shaft lean, so the S2S setup was not bad, so something with that setup with the new insert could be great as well.

One of my buddies bought the S2S JB Cruiser - the original one with shaft lean. He has zero interest in upgrading to the new one because he naturally forward presses in his putting stroke and the OG S2S is like it was custom built for him with that shaft lean.

I've golfed with him for a lot of years, he's a big time putter ho' and I've seen him go through at least several dozen different putters. I've never seen him put as well, or as consistently, as he does with the JB S2S. The only changes he's made are a Super Stroke grip and added 20g of weight to the head.

Love my LABs but the only one I haven't tried yet would be the SC.

Before I had the Tri-Hot JB Cruiser - I would not have even opened this thread - but now, after almost a month with it, it's got my vote. I was soooooo anti ZT as a fad, but it works - it does require some minor changes (I assume across the board), but they are not earth shattering, and it requires some level of trust - once those are installed - it just works - I would expect all of the options to be around for a good while, though the big brands should have lasting power that the smaller brands may not be able to compete with - over the long term.

The isn’t anything made that will touch the new Odyssey S2S tri-hot line. I’ve tried multiple zero torque putters including Lab.

I have same putter. It’s incredible

I actually agree.

I've bought 5 different LAB's at this point, and loved them, as well as the TM ZT, and really enjoyed that one too (I think its better than LAB)....but the new Tri-Hot's are a different tier visually and in terms of performance with this insert.

Really like the Jailbird, but would only game it if they did a White/Black (white on the top line)version.
