Which shot is frustrating you at the moment?

Chip shots, I've never mastered them but now it's getting ridiculous. Thankful for being a decent putter.

Putting, in particular my grip. At the beginning of the season I tried conventional grip after 2 years of gripping left hand low due to an overactive right hand. Putted great all year, at least compared to my previous standards then all of a sudden my overactive right wrist wanted back in the picture.

My only choice was to return to left hand low which I don’t hate but have to relearn speed/touch with this grip. Well season is shut down now so I’ll have 5 months to iron it out, hopefully 🤔.

approach shots are what is killing me. There will be alot work done do dial this part of the game in

Driver. It's inconsistent. If I could just have one miss to play to, that would be great.

3/4 Swing with Wedge. Unless I concentrate I'll swing around my Body and Toe it.

Side hill, downhill and uphill lies. I often don't hit the greatest shots off of a hill.

I just accept these without any frustration. I don't have a way of practicing these and I just accept that lies like this are beyond my skill level. If anything, what easy shot did I hit that put me in that position is what I try and take away.

One of my recurring faults if I forget to keep the handle in front of my sternum.

Driver for me - inconsistent - but my main area of focus.

I'm also losing strokes with my 25-40yd chips over bunkers/rough that need to be flighted - fine if I can bump and run from that distance but I don't have the right touch at the moment to get the height and stopping power. Also looking to work on that over the winter.

Surprised that no one has mentioned fairway woods. For me there are too many thin hits and low hooks.

The “snow so no” shot. Snow on the ground = no golf. Very frustrating. 😡

Beat me to it. I was going to say all of them because the season appears to be done here, so I can't hit any. Back when we could still play I guess I'd have to say chipping and less than full wedge pitch shots, although I was getting better at them. It was only when I'd fall back into my old bad habits that the old lateral shot off the hosel would rear it's ugly head!

Driver, 100%

It was actually really coming around, and then I lost my driving range to renovation and a bit of regression popped back in.

That’s fine. Next year it will be great, I can feel it.
It's been driver since I've met you in person.

short iron/wedge distance controlled shots from 90-125 yards. I can't do it. The Opus has really helped but thats just one wedge. Gotta get this fixed to lower my scores

Chipping. I'm better at pitching.

Driver for me. Swing just got bad, no focus on my swing. I’ll use indoor’s to fix it. It really got away from me. Reminds me of how my irons were getting away from me until I had an indoor session and focused on proper mechanics.

90 yards, but really any partial wedge shot is giving me trouble. I’m better off having a longer full shot approach until I figure it out.

My full swing is kind of bad right now. Been having to slow it down and swing partial swings to hit shots. Maybe that’s what I’m supposed to do given another thread.

80-100 yards, I find myself there often and my wedges in that range have been driving me nuts

80 yards in. Took bogey on my final 2 holes Friday from the fairway at this distance. So frustrating!

Always downhill lies, from anywhere and a bunker, forget about it.
