Woodford and yes I had some time to kill so had several
American Single Malts are really good.
I'm very curious on the difference in flavor between the Weller and the Kosher Wheat Buffalo Trace.
I have a tough time explaining different flavors in Bourbon. The BT was definitely a little thinner than the Weller to me but the opposite for my wife. I got a lot of vanilla in it. It was my first time trying it. The Weller I get more Carmel and some Cinnamon. It definitely has a longer finish.
my favorite was the Weller but the Bardstown is very close and I will always recommend that to anyone who likes more Wheated Bourbons.
I didn’t dislike the BT but I prefer the other 2 over it.

Has anyone tried these? I have a local store that has Store Picks of all four, I've only tried, and liked, the Bourbon Spire. I'm curious about the others.

I tried one of those from that brand a few years back. Can't remember which one but I didn't hate it. Cool bottling for sure
I was specifically curious because Buffalo Trace uses a their wheated bourbon for Weller and Pappy. I was curious if they have a new second wheated mashbill, which would be a bold step.

Typically distillery only, but I can tell you I will not go back without picking one up every single time.

Excited about this one dropping.
I wasn’t sure which one to pour first, the pineapple or the screwball, so I tried it both ways. It’s not giving me butterfinger vibes (it’s not far off though), but I’ve had FAR worse shots before.
And because I’m horrified that my first post in this thread was a picture of screwball

I’ve made this quite a few times. Actually did a batch about a year ago for our pre-round shot for our memorial tournament.
What I’ve learned is it’s just a splash of pineapple juice. Like just a few drops in a shot of the whiskey.
