Chalk candy and mint on the taste, a bit astringent
The finish is...absent

So much promise on the nose but it lets you down the rest of the way. (2019 bottling)

I have a few times in here, it’s something I really enjoy. Not high proof but outkicks the number for sure. Lots of depth and a medium long finish.

Typically around $90 here and if you do the typical $10 per year it’s not bad.

It’s now owned by Diageo and made by Heaven Hill using same original formula and i’m told thy have kept original yeast strain to keep it close.

It won’t be for everybody, but I like it.

I got this at a charity auction for the local food pantry.

Thanks, I need to find this. The bottle is bit different than I remember, but as I age nostalgia gets stronger.
