I need to find this one.
I haven't had it yet but have heard good things. Added to my Bookers collection haha I think that makes 10 of them haha

That one is probably my favorite of 2025.
I passed on like 3 times now and finally said F it, I was determined to buy something today for some reason and nothing else stood out to me other than a small batch purple top but ehh

Just got a bottle of Weller, Special Reserve for a belated Xmas gift.
Any thoughts?

This finally arrived.

Decent pour if you like wheated bourbon.

I know in some places it's still really hard to find. We get tons of it in Ohio. (Or at least used to. It might be getting cut back this year.)

It's a solid sipper.

Kind of sad that I need to cut back on my whiskey drinking.

I'm trying to be better for my health and cut some weight so I'm being very cautious on what I'm putting in my body right now. I'm not going to call it dry January but I just need to limit myself so I can burn calories. I wasn't taking care of myself very well this Summer and Fall. I'd like to be much healthier when golf season rolls back around.

@amarkabove Keep your eye on these guys. Cool history and everything is small batch 1-2 barrels
Oh interesting!

Reading up on them now. Might have to consider ordering a bottle for the current price.

that’s why I did. Figured why not have batch one. Their history is pretty cool.

Any idea where their barrels come from? I was trying to make sense of their mash bills but I wouldn't be surprised if this was a custom mash bill done by Bardstown Bourbon Company.

It’s a custom, but being all local makes me think it’s two different places they are blending. Bardstown and possibly Heaven Hill.

Those would be my guesses for their wheated mash bill in Bardstown. Their rye bourbon recipe is actually the same as Angel's Envy but I don't believe that is distilled in Bardstown since they are in downtown Louisville and distill there.

Yeah it is.

I'm in for one.

Newest pickups. Also grabbed Midwinter’s Night Dram, Frank August, and Old Fitz 7yr this week.

@JB . No fridge. Straight from the freezer to the glass. 3 or 4 minutes while mixed the drink in a shaker. No cracks.

I assume slightly cloudy from freezer or still perfectly clear?
The outside frosts a bit but perfectly clear once liquid goes on it.
