That’s MSRP not secondary though.
I know that’s what makes it ridiculous. In my opinion nothing with the name Weller should cost more than William LaRue Weller. And even at secondary that is like five times the amount that William LaRue Weller goes for.

I like the bourbon glut. I used to be able to grab this any time for pretty cheap. Then the world went upside down. And now it's back where it should be.

Yup down here it’s under $50.
If you can grab the 12 do so. It’s good

Ever have that bottle that you need to get, even though it’s not something you normally want? This was it for me. Penelope Havana Batch 1.

It became very overpriced and incredibly hard to find. I was able to win it at auction for MSRP, and all in fees under 100 bucks, which is way less than I’ve seen it anywhere in the country.

Finally one one of our state lotteries and get to pick up this one this weekend.

Both steals. And I have bid on both of these. Congrats!

Sadly at slightly lesser quality than older bottles since they increased production and got less selective but still a damn good pour for the price. Most things being released today just aren't the same quality as they were 10 years ago.

I do miss the times between 2010-2015 when it was just sitting on shelves. I'm glad it's closer to that now.

Costco stop on the way home for some things. Had to pick this one up for $49. Hadn’t seen it under $60 anywhere and I believe MSRP is $70.

i really liked batch 1, so hoping batch 2 is as good.

@amarkabove i’m trying to talk myself out of a couple of these really high priced items ha ha

Nice. I'm hoping a couple I'm watching don't meet their reserve and get relisted in a No Reserve auction later this month
Yea i’m not a fan of the reserves. Especially on anything with in a handful of years.

@amarkabove Got blanked, but the no reserves that is up now is MASSIVE.

I looked through it a bit last night and felt like I didn't even make a dent. I'm going to have to resort to more focused searching.

I was about to ask how do y'all even start to look through these things. Just an overwhelming amount

The search function works pretty well and I'll usually do a search for brands I want to see. I also will regularly use the filter and set a price range.

Oh. And it turns out I did in fact get one bottle from the last auction. There was a bottle of the latest Wolves release that had a reserve of only $60 and hadn't met it at the end so I snagged it for that. And since I did the "leave a review and get a $20 code" thing finally, shipping was essentially free, making it WAY under retail. I just have to wait like a month to try it haha.

Sign at a place I stopped at Saturday! Pretty funny as they had random bottles placed through the area. Was truly a scavenger hunt. My local place just has all the allocated bottles up by the register.
