Yeah, they have a couple versions at Costco and my local places. Found great prices when I went to Western Illinois a few weekends ago. The Hyvee had a grocery cart of allocation at MSRP she was trying to get rid of....
As in Macomb, IL?

Many fond memories of that locale!
Did you go to school there? I have a ton of connections to Macomb and my wife is from there.

Yes I did, many moons ago. Mid 70s.
My uncle was a biology teacher during that time and my MIL was just starting in the financial aid office.

I visited WIU about 3 yrs ago. It was sad to see some of the dorms were empty and torn down. I think enrollment is now around 6,000 as opposed to 14,000 when I was there.

Turn right dammit...turn right...

Liquor Barn?
Joe’s Beverage Warehouse in Romeoville. Never been but I’ll pass by it tomorrow so might as well stop.

And if it’s going to a be regular items the answer is no. The local places carry the standard Green Rivers but neither of the Full Proofs.
The full proof is not going to be a rare item or hard to find. It’s just brand new, in the wheated variety, so it’s trickling out to places now.

The Green River Wheated is going to be bought next week. One of the local places stocks it.

For those that get into a THP Experience at Vic this year, I spoke to F&B last night and the private room where we do all our dinners, the bar is now completely set up as a bourbon bar.

All hotels booked for the next KY trip.
Its an insane itinerary, and going right after trips to Ballyhack and Victoria National, but tours at Pepper and an elevated tour at Woodford. Then hitting so many distilleries again for the gift shops and tastings. This trip might break me haha.
Toured Pepper a couple years ago. They have an old fashioned recipe that they say is the original. Really good and has lemon not an orange.

I really like that Total Wine has these little guys.

It's not bad, but not great. For the price ($52 I think), id rather buy the bardstown

I also had the 4 year bourbon, it was slightly less good than this rye

Which one? There have been 3 batches of the 4 year so far and of the two I’ve tried one was definitely better than the other.

Anyone try this one? Thoughts?
