Don’t know of any local builders to lean on so that leaves PGAS and GG as primary options. Do you have a reliable, online source to order from or do you stalk the classifieds until you find what your after?

I have a varied history on the source of my current aftermarket or non-stock shafts. Based on my current bag, in reverse chronological order, as follows.

- Iron shafts (new). Local club builder
- 3 wood (new). Internet site
- Driver (used). EBay
- UW (new). On-line Superstore

I’ve ordered my build materials and other items from The GolfWorks.

Golfworks, Shaft Connect, and eBay sellers For shafts and components. Then I build them myself.

Golfworks, Monark Golf and eBay. Mostly the first two.

JDs Clubs has been my go to for a long time...fast turnarounds and I've sent builds to him that I am uncomfortable doing myself

I've heard People's Golf is very good too

I have had good luck with Dallas Golf for shafts when I know what I want. Their prices seem to be decent and includes adapters and a grip.

THP marketplace??

THPers- if you've never checked them out, please see Mike's Golf Outlet. They are another arm of Worldwide Golf, really great people out in Hartford, CT and have TONS of components available at really fair prices (not to mention about 9,000,000 used clubs as well). Their builders are excellent, and if you see something you like and need it assembled, you can call Lana and Paul and they can coordinate to have a special build done for you:

I’ve used them a couple times. Very good service.

Thanks to @bsbmike for the JD's Club recommendation. Fully configured shaft with grip and adapter for no additional costs AND a 5% discount for first time customers. Place my order for Ventus Black Velocore+ this morning. We'll see how the build as well as turn-around time goes.

People’s golf. They have amazing customer service.

Recently, I have been using Shaft Connect. Great selection and service.

Victory Custom Golf (Ken)
FairwayJockey (Scott)
GolfUSA (Drew, Cody)

They should be quick! I won a game run by one of their employees on fb. Ordered shaft Thursday and should be here tomorrow. Granted only like 20 minutes from my house but that’s pretty good

I'm West Coast, so I'd expect a little bit more time to get here, but your feedback sounds promising! Playing on Wednesday, but I don't think it'll be here by then. I'll have to wait until Sunday's round to put it in play.

@ScoFoBG this a unicorn!!!

I’m ignorant when it comes to shafts. I’m looking forward to shaft up to hopefully learn a lot about UST Mamiya.
