Why aren't there any Maltby club reviews?

Man. Wish the DRT in 60 degrees would get back in stock.

My 56° Max Milled wedge will be here Friday.

It will replace a M-Series 56° that is pretty old.

Any reason why you choose those over the newer version?

I’m a high handicapper and it looks like a more forgiving club. Plus it’s a replacement for my M Series 56°, which I really liked.

I’ve been hitting some really controlled shots with the TSWs but am increasingly intrigued by the idea of a wide sole, low bounce 54 and 60 in the Max. I have the TS4s and love the milled soles.

Here's the KE4 Max 7 iron, and there are a few side by side pics with my Mizuno JPX-921 Hot Metal 7 iron.

I have the 54*. They're really good wedges.

I’ll probably pick up a 50° to replace my old Cleveland wedge.

I loved the KE4 max irons. I just wish they felt better compared to Forged irons. I did bend my 2* weak and it was such a great club head.

Maybe the STi2 Gen1/2 would compare better being the 431 is a softer material than the 17-7

Just finished some adjustments to the bag... Once I tried the Maltby KE4 TC Pro IST fairway wood I was hooked! Ended up buying a 7w & 9w to replace other clubs in the bag. All paid with the Kuro Kage 60g-Stiff shaft so of course I bought 1 for my Driver to see if I can get the same results!

I hit back to back 7 irons between my Mizuno JPX-921 Hot Metal and the KE4 Max. I struck both quite well. Overall feel and ball flight was very similar. The Mizuno was longer, but part of that was slightly stronger loft.

If I needed irons, the Maltby would certainly be a solid and affordable option. Not surprised as I've used them in the past.

I bought a couple of their TS3 irons to test, in the hopes of putting together a 2nd set of clubs that i could send to our vacation spot and let them live there, rather than dragging clubs back and forth. Bottom line, i selected the wrong shafts entirely.... I was trying to mimic the Ping AWT 2.0 shafts and it was recommended to try the True Temper AMT White and it was just not a good mix for me. When i DID make a good strike, the irons felt fantastic but i could not do so consistently...

SO.... that project is on the back burner for now, as work has consumed my time since receiving them. When i do get back into it... i'll probably reshaft the 2 test clubs i do have, and perhaps try another head... perhaps the STi2. We'll see...

They've also released the STi2 Gen 2

No one talking about this yet?!

They are essentially the same as the Maxfli XC3 irons. Only better looking and at a cheaper price. I am actually glad these aren’t made in lefty or I would be having a hard time not building up a set.
