Brand and size?

I'll go first. I currently play the midsize Hyper WMX grips. I got influenced here on THP and fell in love with how they felt, the promise of durability, and the color options.
So far so good. 7 months in, and the grips are still super tacky with a quick wipe down. After hearing the episode with WMX, I am sold more than ever that these are the grips for me.

The only glitch is that I am now experimenting with standard grips. If I switch, it will be to another WMX grip though.

I play WellMXS hyper grips standard size. I like that they are tacky but not harsh on my hands while being durable. Definitely tried them cause the hype here on THP and they stuck.

My old Winn Dritac grips were good in both those areas when new but they deteriorated so quickly.

Yeah, I have a set of the denim blue standards in my cart now, and will likely pull the trigger this weekend. When I started, I loved the Winn grips because they were so soft, your are spot on. They would just fall apart from being in my trunk the the SoCal summer heat.

These.

I was fitted at the Grandaddy. I was prepped going in with the grips I wanted so it would save time ordering. While fitting these were the grips on the clubs and they felt amazing. I changed my mind on the spot and got them instead.
Love them.

Nice, the Crossline 360s. I hope you stocked up since Super Stroke discontinued many Lamkin lines when they bought them. The SS grips that are similar don't feel the same to me. The Roger Dunn near me has pulled all of the Lamkins and put them in a bin.

I play jumbo/oversized grips because I wear an XXL glove. I play the grips I have on my clubs right now because they were the only jumbo grips available when I ordered my wedges last year (Golf Pride CP2 Wrap), and it turned out that I really like them. I regripped the rest of my bag with them and they'll be my preference until/unless I find something I like better.

I had no idea! I may have to search just to have a spare set now…

My buddy has the Golf Pride 2G Jumbos on his clubs and he really likes them.

Thank you!
Only one gray left but black will look bada**

Golf Pride Tour Velvet Aligns - love the feel!

I play Winn Dri-Tac 2.0 oversized with 6 wraps
I love the feel of them, the cushion they provide, and the tackiness of them.

I recently tried out some Jumbomax again, but they just didn't feel right.

Have you tried the Align Max? I tried them, and they are really aggressive in height. No denying the alignment bump. :)

Wow, that is impressive. I tried a Jumbo max once. It came with a club I bought. It was not for me. You are right, they do not feel anything like a Winn grip.

Well MXS midsize so I can have a larger grip at lighter weight so my swing weights stay higher. I like a high swing weight. I had other midsize grips before but they were so heavy it took like 3 points off the swing weights.

Yes! That is an Another great thing about the WMX grips, especially in midsize.

I use gripmaster roo leather grips in standard size. Well I did decide to try thicker grips again and yesterday took them all off and added 2 extra layers of tape and put them back on.

Leather golf grips are actually amazing. I came across them when looking for alternatives to corded grips that I have played forever. I was tired of wearing holes in gloves and my hands.

First off leather grips are insanely durable. There are a lot of people saying they have played the same set of leather grips for 5+ years moving them from set to set. I’m going on year 3 with my initial test grips and the leather is still in great shape.

I was a cord guy because I hate clubs twisting or slipping. The leather is treated with a solution that makes the leather tacky. The real wild part is the grips get tackier when moisture gets on them. Playing a round in the rain lasts year I had no slipping. If the grip starts to lose the tack feel just wipe them off with a damp towel and the tack comes back.

There are 3 types of leather used in gripmaster grips. Cow, goat and kangaroo. The kangaroo are my favorite and the most expensive. I’ve been using a mix of the three and with my more tape experiment I went ahead and bought a few more kangaroo grips to have a full 13 grip set.

Another grip thread?

I've never really cared about what grips I've used. I've played Lamkin Crossline, Golf Pride Tour Velvet, Tour Wrap and CPX, and CP2. Over the past few years I've moved to midsize grips.

My favorite recently have been Lamkin Sonar Plus Midsize. They are similar to the Golf Pride CP2 and I could use either and be happy.

I'd like to try the WellMXS but I'm not in a rush.

I am not one to complain about expensive grips. I have always been curious about leather grips, and have a kangaroo putter grip that I have not found the right putter to put it on. I have also heard the they are super durable. Do you like the seam down the back of the grip, or do you not think about it?

That's really interesting. I don't know many people that are so indifferent about what grips they use. Most people I know are pretty particular.

I play in a very humid climate so the MCC Plus 4 helps when my hands are sweaty.

I played the MCC Plus4s for a bit, but they seemed to lose their tack within 6 months for me. Maybe it's the heat out here. How do they hold up for you?

I’m currently in Golf Pride Tour Velvet Midsize +4s.

Tour Velvet because that’s what I’ve always had on my clubs ever since I started playing.

Midsize because a fitting a few years ago indicated that a midsize grip would fit my hand better (it does, makes it feel like I don’t have to grip so firmly).

+4 because I was intrigued by the idea of reducing taper in the lower hand (and I like it!).

Only thing I could see myself switching out of these for would be WellMXS Hyper Midsize+
