Why we are allowed only 14 clubs

well then i guess all those pros that use to carry 18, 20,24,28,30 whatever amounts of clubs didnt have any idea what they were doing if all they ever needed was 7. :confused2:

Id say it was more they saw a competitive advantage in using specialty clubs and being able to take feel and technique out of the game to a certain extent. ?‍

Kind of a cool article. Never really thought about the reasoning.

Must say, I keep debating going fewer clubs in the bag, already down to 13, but thinking of keeping another 1 or 2 at home in the garage next year.
