Will your swing age well.

At 73, its for sure not like fine wine where distance is concerned. Just smooth and steady.

Honestly I don't know. At 44 my swing is as good as it's been and I haven't lost any speed. I'm trying to put myself in a position where that holds true 20 years from now.

I think mine will. I don't think I really rip at the ball and overall my swing is relatively smooth. I probably need to slow down the tempo a bit on the future.

My tempo needs to improve and I still feel like I rip at the ball at times. Won't be able to do that forever. So it'll have to be tweaked as I get older.

I'm already there at 52, so I think so. I've never had a fast or violent swing which probably helps. The quest for the next 10-15 years is whether my joints and back will hold up. No issues so far, so I hope so!

at 68, I believe it has done well so far

Yeah. Au natural

At 73, I try to hang on to what got me here. The swing is slower and shorter but sometimes I can turn back the clock.

Yes mine has very few moving parts so I'll be fine...
I mean based on your work history you’ve hit positions that not many are capable of. You are basically superhuman

I think it will. My swing is smooth so it will get shorter but should keep working well.

Personally I don’t know. I’m trying to restore flexibility in the joints and it’s playing massive dividends. The ankle is a major limiter for me. Need to figure out how to swing it like Rham

Apparently my shorter backswing does age well. Hurt my left shoulder last week in the back and I have trouble shooting a puck or raising my left arm, but! I can swing a golf club pain free.

Yeah but how many balls do you bash when the sim gets fired up?

I doubt my current swing holds up. Maybe it will. I seem to think it’s too forced and jerky where others think it looks somewhere between okay and smooth. I definitely get too long so a little restriction on my flexibility wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

Yes.
Short compact and repeatable ( I got numbers validation at my GD fitting that it’s absurdly consistent).
My real problems are my takeaway gets fast and messes everything up. As I age speed anything becomes less and less of a problem lol.

Or I’m just a hopeless optimist.

Hoping so. I'm fortunate enough to be pretty flexible for my age and my swing isn't too crazy.

Like many others I'll take slightly slower, and slightly shorter as I age and keep my fingers crossed everything holds up.

Hopefully better than I am

At 68 I’m still grooving in swing changes from lessons this year. So I hope so going forward.

Yes, I already swing like old man!:ROFLMAO:

At 78 years of age, I guess it has to an extent. Distance has been lost, compensated somewhat by playing from the "senior tees". It has kept me a mid-single-digit handicap, though.

Yes. I am already pretty flexible. My swing is smooth and its pretty simple (although it's not the prettiest haha). But there's no excessive pressure on my back or hips. The only thing that will keep me from playing golf would be my labral tear in the shoulder....

Oh heck. In my 40's I was still a young man. 30 years later, not so much. It was in my early to mid 60's that things really started to go south.
