Did you see the leaderboard though… Who picks up 54 yards by switching irons? Were they hitting plastic spoons before? LOL
 
Just so happens there is a Golfsmith not far from where the KC Invitational is taking place the next day...
 
Signed up for Friday. Now to find a hickory-shafted 7i...

Everything is bigger in Texas... even the gains in newer irons.
 
They even have a guy that lost 28 yards, somehow. At least they appear to publish all results!

Edit: Looks like they just haven't updated that first post in a month. GolferGal knows I won't be there and somebody from the waiting list already got my spot as far as I know.
 
I might have to check this out, and find an old seven iron too.
 
No fun for me. I already have the irons and balls :bananadance:

I wound up -2. Not really sure how you lose 28 though.
