The Driver
With every release cycle, there is a club that seemingly comes out of nowhere to pleasantly surprise golfers, and back in 2023, the DYNAPWR driver was one of those surprises. Not only did it perform well for a wide range of golfers, but it did so at a more affordable price, which hasn’t been an […]

from a looks perspective I really like these. Never thought I would say Wilson and Srixon may have the nicest looking woods lineup. The previous Dynapower Carbon was a great driver and the lowest spinning one I hit 2 years ago

Really excited about these and hope its the start of a Wilson comeback bc they do make great looking clubs

These look really good. That 3+ could make a really solid second serve option off the tee.

Great writeup @ddec ! Man these look fantastic. Kind of remind me of Taylormade for some reason, but that's not a bad thing. I remember Wilson being popular as a kid and would be cool to actually see them make a comeback to being more popular.

They really do look nice. I hope there progress continues to right the ship on their sales so to speak. I never saw anyone with any of their equipment on the course last year. I also had a fitter at Club Champion tell me he found it to be the best fit for a few people last year but all of them went with a different driver because they did not want to play a Wilson. That’s kind of crazy to me as I would think play what works best for you but does speak volumes to how they are viewed by golfers.

Great write up @ddec . Boy, I have to hand it to the current Wilson team, they have brought Wilson golf back from the dead. This entire wood lineup looks fantastic. If they perform, the pricing is going to make some purchase decisions interesting. The LS version driver with the smaller head looks like a beast.

I am going to have to make a conscious effort to hit these this year even to get a feel for the improvements it appears they have made in recent years. I bet I haven’t hit a Wilson wood in 10+ years but this year the new models certainly make the decision easier.

These look really good and I imagine they perform great. I don't think Wilson did themselves any favors with pricier though. I fear these will get overlooked by most with Cobra being more recognizable and the same price.

These look really good. Hopefully, I can try them out.

Nice work @ddec

Edit - I think I have to re-think my driver musical chair order...

Very clean look. Wilson seems to really be trying to come back in the golf industry and I love it. Always been a Wilson fan.

Wilson has hit a home run in the looks department.

Best looking driver lineup that Wilson has put out in some time. I am genuinely excited to do some testing.

I like seeing some nice new offerings from Wilson. Very good looking drivers and fairway woods.

I think so too. The looks are really good, should be something for everyone in this lineup.

Wow Wilson is really bringing it this release cycle.

This release is great top to bottom.

@ddec Is it safe to assume these Venus blue tr stock shafts are the same non-velocore shafts that TaylorMade uses?

The hybrid options look good and are priced to be considered. The only thing I don’t like is the red in the driver crown. The rest looks really nice.

Nice write up @ddec
Looks like a great line up.
I played the previous line ihe the fairway wood and hybrid.
Their as good as any line up out there.
Now, can the out Market and out Demo everyone to get golfers to try their products?

They look impressive. The logo is a love it or hate it thing. I don't hate it.

The MAX looks really good and it's priced competitively based on what else is out there.

Unfortunately I've never gotten along with a W/S driver, the complete opposite of their irons. It feels to me like if W/S can get a solid performing (and sounding) driver, that'll open a lot more eyes to everything else that they offer.

This is a great evolution for Wilson. I thought the first DYNAPWR line was very good, but it wasn't really a great fitting option. You had either the very low spin/workable option or the Titanium that they sort of made seem inferior in their marketing. Here you have three options that are specifically placed to match different players. I love the addition of adjustable weighting too, because you're really getting four different drivers in the LS and Carbon options.

Also, the look freaking cool. And I probably need to hit the hybrids.

Drivers and FWs look great.

Great looking equipment! Beings the MAX driver is $100- 150 less than others, it SHOULD get some lookers. Their drivers have always been sleepers but always worked wonderfully for me. I wouldn’t be the least bit ashamed to bag this stuff! I’ll give it a look beings our local 9 hole track is a huge W/S dealer. They move tons of W/S stuff believe it or not.

I think these actually look pretty good. I'm curious to hear what they sound like as is seems like they paid attention to that this time around.

Look pretty good! Is it a legit Fuji TR blue??

@ddec Is it safe to assume these Venus blue tr stock shafts are the same non-velocore shafts that TaylorMade uses?
I would not assume that but maybe @JB can confirm.
