I am really agitated by this weather too @5150 Its not just a golf thing but a quality of life thing. Cold weather in MO and IL is pointless.

Yeah, I’m a SoCal native, only been in the Midwest since 2006. This winter thing sucks.

We are supposed to get an inch or two of snow here tonight. Looks like the season is over and time to a)move testing indoors b) finally get my elbow looked at.

Got our 4/5 inches and it's still snowing. Wind chill around 8*. I'm not ready for this....

Disgusting weather

All the local courses closed for several days due to snow and frost. They just reopened but I didn't get a chance to get out.
As soon as they closed, the wife and I booked a trip to San Diego to get our golf fix. We leave on Saturday for a week of fun in the sun !

It's getting better and better by the day here in Bangkok. Saturday I played the whole round using just two gloves and my tee-shirt stayed relatively sweat free. The temperature barely made it above 30 degrees (86) and the humidity was much lower than in the Summer.

Shoveled snow in 8F this morning. I golfed Saturday in high 50s. Mountain weather in the shoulder seasons keeps us on our toes. I'm going to setup a remote "office" at Woody's shop with the 3 really nice simulator bays.

BTW, shoveling snow really is a great golf workout. Keeps the core strong. I have 2 snow blowers but prefer to hand shovel when I have the time.

4-6 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow. Golf season is officially done in Northern Illinois. Thank goodness Florida for Christmas.

Yep, We were in MN last Christmas fo maybe the last time, lol.

I lived in MN/WI for 33 years before moving to California for 20 years. This is our 2nd winter back in MN and I'd have a serious dose of S.A.D if we weren't escaping to Florida a handful of times between now and early April when the golf season begins again.

Tonight it's supposed to be 7* which is the average low in mid-January, our coldest month of the year.

I can’t imagine living in a place with an actual winter. Those 2 weeks of real winter we get here in NC is enough to last me all year.

I squeezed in 9 holes Saturday evening before sunset. I checked the temp on my phone as I teed off on 9 and it was 46°. It was a glorious way to end the day.

On the golf course the last two days, snow on the ground today!!!

19* and snowing right now. Then should be back into the 50's by the weekend.

Ten centimetres and -17 yesterday. Got the snow blower out and cleaned the neighbours as well. Our 3rd or 4th snow day the past month. Supposed to warm up to + 5's for the next 5-10 days.

We ain't moving so I've gotten used to practicing at the indoor range, getting a little more non golf exercise, reading the same 5 golf books and occasionally getting a week in palm springs

and making a point of walking outdoors, once the courses close down. I find getting acclimatized to the weather, by getting outdoors, makes it much more enjoyable.

We're setting a historical record with our snowfall here in Detroit today thats going to be about 6 inches. Not a record I wanted to be a part of.

I feel ya 5150, much the same down here. Played in a casino hosted scramble down near the confluence of KS, OK, & MO yesterday. Sunny 72F when we finished up. I just came in from backyard. Was trying to harvest a few things and cover up the garden I keep through the winter. Sleeting already, snow within hour, and a howling north wind. Nearly broke my neck on stairs back up to my deck as they'd glazed over while I was out there. Bitter cold next couple days but high maybe 50 by the weekend (y)

It was 76 and sunny when I golfed Saturday, and when I opened the new driver that just got delivered and pulled off the head cover, it instantly fogged over from the temperature change. lol Thing is frozen solid. I don't care that there's 2" on the ground and it's supposed to get down to 3* tonight. I'm gaming this thing on Thursday.

I feel your pain but its part of life if you live in the north. I'll take dealing with a little snow and cold vs living with hurricanes and it being too hot to golf during the middle of the day most of the summer if I lived in the south.

Ugh. Watching my outside world getting turned white right now. I need to take up bowling or something for the winter (I hate and suck at bowling-come to think of it I probably hate it because I suck).

You know what? I don't have the same experience. It's beautiful outside today/this week. I have no time to play golf. The only breaks I'm getting are to occaisionally procrastinate by checking in on THP. So even though we're not in the same boat, I feel for you.

2 inches of snow on the ground turned my 30 minute commute to 2 hours, even after leaving the office an hour and a half early.

Winter rules apply today... lift, defrost and replace.
