Ha, fooled you. I don't have them, because I can't find them anywhere. If someone knows where they are posted, let me know. The USGA site sucks.

That said, Twitter has informed me that the following players either did or did not survive today's 36 holes (and apparently at least a 2 hole playoff for some):

In
Kyeong Bae
Irene Cho
Meaghan Francella
Nicole Hage
Johanna Mundy (after 2 round play-off, apparently)
Meredith Duncan

Not In
JeeHae Lee
Paige Mackensie
Anna Rawson
Julie Granada

Still radio silence on Twitter from Michelle Wie and Blair O'Neal, who were paired together, which I guess suggests neither made it, but who knows.

I guess I'm just impatient, but I wish there were some ready press on this. I'm sure I'll have the official word tomorrow. At which time my post will become obsolete.

Edit: See Post #7 for the results.

I was literally getting on to post this thread! The USGA website said they would have them, but no such luck. I am with you, I need to know!

Thanks WSE. I didn't think to check twitter, and I've been checking the USGA and USWomensOpen sites with no luck.

Michelle Wie and Natalie Gulbis both failed to qualify.
Wie missed by 1 shot, and Gulbis by 2.

Neither Michelle Wie nor Natalie Gulbis will be in the field for the U.S. Women's Open next month.

Wie and Gulbis were among the hundreds of women trying to get into the U.S. Women's Open at sectional qualifiers around the United States on Monday. But the two big names, both of whom were playing in the sectional in Rockville, Md., fell short.

Wie posted rounds of 71 and 74 for a 145 total. The top 30 in the Rockville sectional qualified, and they all shot 144 or better. Gulbis posted rounds of 78 and 68 for a 146 total, two strokes off the pace.

EDIT: Blair O'Neal also failed to qualify.

But despite drawing the most onlookers, neither qualified. In a strong field of 111 players, many who competed Sunday in the LPGA Championship at Bulle Rock, neither was among 30 qualifiers. While Wie (71-74 - 145) imploded with four bogeys on her last five holes and missed a playoff by a shot, O'Neal (80-75 - 155) was never in contention.

Well that won't help the television ratings, I'm dissappointed that Wie and Gulbis both missed.

Thanks, the USGA has finally caught up (sort of ... they still don't have the Florida and California results up, but I added those at the end):

U.S. Women's Open Sectional Qualifying Results

{P.s. Doesn't it seem unfair, or rather just dumb, to hold a 36-hole qualifying event the day after a 4-round major? Is this always how the schedule works out? Scheduling this way would seem to lead the best players to either skip the major, or if they make the cut in the major, to play under a significant disadvantage, which is not the way you'd think the USGA would want its selection process to work. How do they let this happen?}

The LPGA strikes again. You have day four of a major for some of these girls and then they have to turn around and go to qualifying? Makes no sense and of course the LPGA might have just lost their two top attraction draws.

Although skipping a major does not assure good play, because BQ did not qualify either.

Well, at least the new tall young phenom, Alexis Thompson, made it through. But I agree: with all the empty weeks in the LPGA schedule, couldn't the LPGA and USGA coordinate something like this?

There were numerous qualifiers on different weekends. Couldn't the players have chosen a different week to play?:confused2:
