I dont remember the last time I saw a shoestring fry, thought they were forced in to extinction for being crap.

Those are just fries. But I agree that are the worst version of a regular frie.

Chic-Fil-A has the worst fries IMO
 
I don’t think I have ever had a great crinkle fry! Half the time I think they are barely cooked… blasphemy!

Most I've ever had were awful, except at GD Ritzy's; they were always awesome. Too bad that chain pretty much went belly up 30 years ago.

I’m with you. I don’t get all the steak fry hate. As long as they’re crispy on the outside, they are fantastic.

Ever since I outgrew the happy meal, I've thought McDonalds fries are by far the most overrated. They are very good (not great) for about 3 minutes if you catch them perfectly out of the fryer, but the other 95% of the time they are very meh. All that said, I will agree that the crinkle cut fry is probably my least favorite.
 
A thicker cut chip … that doesn’t disintegrate … can be held comfortably and will hold any accompanying sauces or dip …

Any one of those weird coated fries. If you need to add some pretend food to make a fry crispy you should get the hell out of the kitchen.

There's a place at Logan airport that makes these perfect garlic parmesan fries that are really amazing!

That is a type of coated fry that i am down with

That does sound good! Not really what I was referencing. I could get down with that any day.
