I haven’t and that’s a great suggestion. I’ll have to get the ole laser out and get my setup right to be sure but that’s easy enough!

Man it’s funny my iron swing and the way I swing woods/driver is so completely different it’s sort of insane to me.
Golf is hard. And the difference between those two swings is maddening. Fix one, break the other, rinse, repeat.

Also.... who are you?

Another thing to consider. As mentioned earlier in the thread. Make sure that you're actually setting up square to the ball with some alignment sticks. Amateurs WAY too often set up to the ball with a closed stance. Your eyes are some lying motherf***ers. When I finally took that advice and set up properly it looked (to my eyes) that I was aimed WAY, WAY right of my target (as a lefty). It was mindblowing how far off I was. Then, after you learn that, having the smarts to remember what that looks like on the course. Most of us need to really re-train our eyes as to what square looks like at address.
I was going to say this. Drop the sticks. Just hit some shots with a pre defined target. Find your center.

Don’t “fix” anything.

I think my actual stance is good and maybe I should’ve changed the thread name to aim instead.
I’ll have to check on my stance/aim though as that could easily be wrong and I just thought I was aiming correctly.
We always think we're aligned correctly. I always check there first

I started doing this last year by picking a point a couple of feet in front of my ball between the ball and my target, then lining my feet up parallel to that imaginary line.
Like you said it was wild how far left I felt like I was lined up! Maybe I’ve not been doing it the same and that’s the answer

Check, then check, then check again on your setup.

Then path.

I have noticed lately that I’m pushing everything 10-15 yards right, not a fade but a straight push to the right. I’ve decided that it’s a problem with my path and figured I’d ask here which you all think I should change, path or stance?

Stance could potentially fix the issue right away by just aiming a bit more to the right.

Path could have a more lasting effect and introduce less variability.
In this scenario, neither!!

Close the face a few degrees and the ball will start a little less right have have draw spin and curve back to the middle. Same stance, same path?

I should’ve just ran the name change by yall 1st 😂

Also those 2 swings shouldn’t feel so different in my opinion but man it is.. I mean when I watch the pros it looks like the exact same swing no matter what club is in their hands, I can’t even come close to that.

I didn't vote but I'd start with path.

I'm facing the same problem so I have no suggestion and am looking for some answers.

Just wait until @MtlJeff sees this

Path .. Tour Aim is good for path, also a neutral grip with a flat lead wrist at the top/severly bent trail wrist and keeping some bent trail wrist through the releae

Stance square with some foot flaring especially lead foot so you can turn more easily, flaring back foot will help with turn

Path is the long term solution, Stance is easy

On course playing for a good score, adjust your stance.

Work on fixing path on the range, during swing training, etc.

Both work and how I'd use them depends on the situation. Overall i'd adjust my stance a bit in round just because it's an easier adjustment to make while playing. But overall i'd be working to change my path as that will have a more lasting effect overall.

You’re a pretty sharp fella 👍👊

Face to path. That's the metric that matters more imo.

I voted stance because the first thing you should check is are you actually aiming where you think you are. If your alignment is good then it’s probably the face being open a hair too much.

I wouldn’t start messing with path unless you have access to a launch monitor with a reliable path measurement.

Did this just recently start? Is the 10-15 yard "push" consistent? And, if it is actually straight with no "slice" added to it, check your stance/ball position. I have experienced this in the past where I address the ball and it's slightly deeper in my stance than normal. When I move back (read ball closer to the front foot) slightly, 1/2 in or less, this corrects the problem. (Face angle to ball).

I had it happening a lot last year before I changed how I would aim towards my target. It admit shown back up until my last round and I just couldn’t hit anything on target at all everything was pushed right by a pretty consistent distance.

I've been doing that but have worked on drawing it back. Fixing my feet did not help at all

First thing I woud try for a straight push would be to move the ball a little forward, which of course can be done with a stance adjustment backwards.
Please don’t do that. That turns a push into a fade or slice.

We'll agree to disagree on this. By moving the ball a bit more foreward, it allows the club head a little more time to square up to the golfers intended line.

Yes, too far forward will create a slice

I can hit pushes all day long if the ball is too far back in my stance.

Path. Are you in to out? I was way to in to out last couple years and if I actually flushed a square face it was a straight push.

Check your club face also!
I did the same years ago! I was tucking my right elbow(rh) so tight, I couldn't get out of my own way!! Everything was a push off the tee! That was a tough tweak to learn! I finally got it..
