If I am 3+ putts into any hole, I'm taking that advice.

Never seen anything like this! If it’s an official local rule and there’s a chance I’m going to 4 putt, I’ll go with it . The very fact that they believe this sign is necessary makes me think it’s a silly pin position that shouldn’t be used.

Friends don't let friends four putt. Unfortunately I never seem to be playing with any friends

As others have indicated, position #3 probably shouldn't be a position, but if I'm 3-jacking it I'm picking up and moving on as directed.
