Wraps of tape under grip

Besides the feel, does this have any effect on your club performance? Would more wraps help a hook, as it would keeps the hands more quiet through impact? And on the other hand, would less help you release the club face more through the hitting area, promoting a draw? Thanks for the input

Theoretically both of your examples are correct. However, it's most important for the grip to be the right size and comfortable. I wouldn't recommend someone with hook problems play a grip that's too big or vice versa. That said, there may be some marginal room for adjustment within an appropriate size range for your hands.

thanks guys. I've never been measured for grip size and stuff so I was just wondering If I do what could be possible effects.
