The subject pretty much says it all, I’m looking for some GI/SGI irons in R flex steel shafts for my son.
He has been using some older Cobra FPs that my dad gave him when he stopped playing; he loves the shafts (coming from some lighter graphite W/S D200s) but not the heads. So larger heads with thicker top lines & soles are fine, just no hybrid style which he doesn’t like.
Looking to keep it to $300/$350 max, his doc says he’s got another 4” in height to go still so I know he’ll be needing another set before too long
He’s not playing PGA Jr this summer but we’ll see about that…
