Mine was an albatross 🦅🦅 at Walden Ponds near Cincinnati, Ohio.

Driver, then 5-iron. The pin was back right, so we couldn’t see it go in but when we walked up and didn’t see a ball anywhere, I just knew. I took enough club to get it there but not enough to go long, and sure enough, it was in the hole! Unreal feeling.

Well done! Get that ball in a case!

Thanks! Yeah I need to get a case so I can display it. Crazy thing is my buddy gave me the ball the day before as a joke.

Sweet!! Good photo too so that cements it in the memory bank! Is that hazard right up to the front of the green?
That one is from #2 at ArborLinks, and that is the legend Marni Ines with the wedge work.

Hitting over the hotel on the Road Hole at the Old Course. I was so nervous and had a crowd of college golfers watching. I really wanted to park that drive. And I did!

This tee shot is slightly downhill, so I will give props to the added roll out, but I did hit the driver well.

I only carry 1 fairway wood (GT2 13.5*). The rest of the longer clubs are a 3 hybrid 21*, and a 4 iron utility
smart setup! all titleist through the bag it looks like?

Definitely could be a driver hole, but at this point in the season, I was deploying my Elyte mini as a straight driver replacement. My average distance with the mini according to Arccos is 266, and I ended up just short of the bunker that was at 235, if that tells you anything about the wind that day. Lol
dang, yeah that is howling wind. I was thinking of using my mini at 11.5 degrees as a driver. seems like I hit it straighter and it flies good. most courses all you need is 260-70 and you'll still have a shorter iron into the 4s. I have never used arcos. do the caps on the butt ends big you? i used shotscope and it was great.

215 out, hole 18 at Ballyhack, tree on the left to get over top of, 7W in hand, needing a tie on the hole to win the Bag Boy Championship, opponents about 140 out in the fairway with no tree in their way. Hit a towering shot that ended up on the green, pin high, 25’ from the hole.

Sadly my season has not left me with anything truly memorable, but I do know of one that I hope my man @SVonhof will share from Briggs Ranch
sorry man hopefully a better 2026!

A few weeks ago, I hit an 8i out of the bunker that landed right next to the pin. It wasn't quite a greenside bunker, about 110 out or so, and it was dug in pretty good. I figured with the distance and club selection, just full swing it and voila, putt for par but a helluva recovery shot.

Almost, and I don't look specifically for just Titleist clubs, but they do make a really good product for all things. My non-Titleist clubs currently are the 3 hybrid which is a Callaway Apex UW, and 2 wedges which are Callaway Opus SP in 52* and 58*.

Please tell me that you framed this photo. This is awesome! Glad you got the opportunity to hit this shot!

3 shots stand out to me from this year:

1. At the Goat Cup in my singles match against @DB_CG on hole 9 I found myself in a fairway bunker 125 yards out. Proceeded to hit it to 4 feet.
2. Drove the green on number 9 at Streamsong Red.
3. Holed out from 49 yards to win a hole in a member-guest tourney.

I might send it as a Christmas card.

Honestly there are many contenders for the title. Had a couple of lip out near hole in 1s, made several eagles this year, hit at least a dozen or more approach shots inside 1-2’, made some bomb putts.

I think my most memorable sequence was being 3 down 3 to play in 1st round of match play and winning the final 3 holes on a combined 10 strokes.

7i - 28’ putt made for birdie
Driver - 8i - 2’ conceded birdie
Mini - 6i - PW - chip - 9’ putt made for par

I will also remember a clutch eagle I made in the city championship that probably helped cement the cup for our team since I later barfed all over myself with a triple on a different hole. The easier way would’ve been to make birdie on that hole and not make the damned triple but it would’ve been less memorable.

I feel like you could do more...

Very cool!

I had a few memorable shots this seasons.

3 happened in the same scramble, we came to one of the harder par 4s on my home course.. but playing from a tee up than I usually do. Put my drive pin high about 4 feet off the left side of the green. Decided to go up and chip 1st and holed out for a lone eagle.(I had not chipped in all season.)
then a couple holes later is a long par 5 with a creek that cuts through the hole. I hit my first ball pretty poorly but still had an open shot to the green which is not easy on this par 5.. .but the guys told me to use a mulligan and try to get over the creek. Ended up hitting the best drive of the day and getting about 30 yards over the creek to have about 140 yards into the green.

Then the other 2 shots came from that same par 5. I hit a great drive again but from my regular back tees and got just to the edge of the creek. about 180 in but have to go around or over a very tall tree that sits on top of a hill that is about 10 feet higher than where you hit from. so get it up quick and get it way up.... I decided to risk it with my 8 iron and stuck it to about 5 feet... and decided to lag the 5 footer to about a half inch for a nice simple birdie.

I don’t notice them, but I am switching to SS for the 2026 season. My Arccos tags are dying and I am still grandfathered into the free subscription. Won’t be paying for their subscription fee.

I am playing mine at 10.5 and it has been fantastic

158-yard par three, pin VERY close to the front of the green. Got it to about 157, easy bird.
