Im working on a story doing a round up of some of the best bags for carry on's that exist for golf travelers and want to hear from you.
Need brand, and what makes it good.
What is your favorite?

Following!

I'm a big fan of the Birdie Backpack Bag from Stitch. I can fit plenty of clothes in there and whatever else I need. It's comfortable to lug around too.

I do have my eye on this:

I just have a brown duffle gym type bag I use almost every time. It’s great, I use it daily as a gym bag but when I go I trips it typically turns into my carry on..

Stitch UGB and it's not even close

You can use it as a full garment bag if you want where it can hold a suit or something like that, and still then fold it up and stack more clothes in there. It's the ultimate "duffle" style bag where it offers ample space and a lot of options of how to pack clothes

You can fit a TON in there

I don’t have one but I bought my groomsman a Travis Matthew duffel with a shoe compartment. They still rave about it

This one?
Yup that's the one...had mine since 2019, makes every trip I take

Im a huge fan, but it does have some issues.
First, it is slightly oversized, so you might be forced to check it.
Second, if you are on a tight window flying with a connection, no wheels means that heavy sling over your shoulder.

I've never personally been asked to check it, but I could see a world where that happens
And yes on the no wheels...I think the strap is pretty comfy, even when it's loaded up

But I'm also someone where I'd rather have the duffle style than a wheely suitcase style

We have this Ogio layover bag. It is the perfect size for 3-4 days of travel. The Ogio is very well made and rolls extremely easy. The pocket options are good and after about a year of ownership zero issues with the bag at all.

I love my Ogio Layover carry on. The bag has a ton room. I could pack in this bag for like a 5 night trip.

Ogio customer service is amazing. I have had some issues with a bag in the past and they replaced with no questions asked

Based on what you and Koske said in the Graybull pro shop I picked up a stitch ultimate garment bag. The bag is high quality and high price.

Being able to put a pair of shoes in the ends is big. I’ve been tricked before by other bags where the shoe pockets don’t hold adult men’s shoes.

The garment bag converting into the duffel bag gives a lot of room for clothes that you fold.

I Need that in my life....

Depends on how long I am traveling., just a few days, I have a Holderness and Bourne duffle bag that fits all that I need.

For longer trips I picked up a Ridge carry on and it has a lot more room than I thought.

Looking for it for golf trips, so assume 2 nights and 3 days with multiple outfit changes.

Dollar for dollar, there is nothing close.
One problem, I was forced to check mine last trip due to size.
Interesting. I've carried it on, but try to check when I can anyway. I hate lugging bags through the airport.

For actual work travel I always use the Away Carry on

Nice add ons, comes with a laundry bag for when I travel so all of that stays separate. Really good roll. And they’ve stood by their products

Whatever Costco has to be honest. I’m gonna be paying attention to this cause I think I would like some nicer options. Maybe something a little more Golf specific.

It also works well as a cooler.
My cousin had a Travis Matthew version of this for our last trip and I was interested in it, but this might be the one to push me to order.
