Your Carry-On Luggage?

Interesting. What airline @JB? I haven't heard of anyone having to check as it's just slightly over the carry on size limit when stuffed.
It's happened twice now.
Delta once and United once.

It was fairly stuffed, and so was the plane. Sitting up front, they should have bugged others for space, but I get it, it is larger.
Otherwise, simply one of the best bags I have used to date.

For the last couple years I’ve used an Under Armour Project Rock backpack. Plenty of room for anything I’d need on the plane, and one day’s worth of clothes.

I am torn on that to be honest. I do think it rolls super easy with two.
It does for sure. Those inline skate wheels do the job well. I’ve just rolled my wife’s carryon with four wheels and it’s no comparison that I’d rather have one with that feature.

Though just because it has four wheels doesn’t mean they are good. They have to be high quailty

We have this Ogio layover bag. It is the perfect size for 3-4 days of travel. The Ogio is very well made and rolls extremely easy. The pocket options are good and after about a year of ownership zero issues with the bag at all.
I bought one of those for my daughter when they were blowing them out a few years back. Every time I see it I wish I had gotten one for myself too.

Same thoughts with the ugb and rolling duffle. They are both an inch or two too big to fly comfortably.

If I'm flying I'm taking a 4wheeled hardsided suitcase more times than not. We got a whole set of monos. I wouldn't say they are perfect but they work.

I recommend the Delsey brand if you get it over there.

I use Solgaard and have liked it for short trips, it wasn't large enough for the Grandaddy candidly, but for a short 2-3 night trip it's perfect.

This is in our round up too. Love the internal piece, even though it tears pretty easy.
My issue is it does not hold mens shoes well.

100% accurate- that side pocket is not good for shoes like they say, unless you wear kids sizes.

Haha, first time I loaded it up, I thought I got the female version.

I'm curious if anyone has tried any of the vacuum sealed backpacks that continue to litter my FYP on instagram.

I use the smaller Away carry on roller suitcase. No wheel or zipper issues, decent space inside, and I largely don’t have to think about it which is what I like most. I’m not convinced there aren’t better options, but it works for me.

While I enjoy the Stitch UGB, I honestly cannot fly with it.
Likes:
-The separate compartment for me to put those items that need to resemble being hung.
-Looks very professional.

Dislikes:
-Have to sling it over my shoulder, and the strap is not comfortable.
-If I have a lot of items in the above mentioned compartment, it tends to limit the space I have in the rest of the bag.

So for most of my traveling I use the Samsonite Freeform carry on. It allows me to take more than I need and will fit in any overhead compartment on an airplane.
With the amount of traveling you do for work and vacation, decided to pick up a freeform for my wife since I found a good discount. 👊

Away flex is what my mom who travels a ton uses but I use the cobra duffle bag that came with a backpack. It works well for 2 or 3 days.

Following because I don't fly very often, but my Caddy Daddy First Class Carry-On is my default luggage for any trip I take. I've often wondered if it would pass muster for carry-on because I haven't had the chance to try it yet.

I'd second (or third, or fourth, or whatever) the request for a Caddy Daddy backpack, I'm sure it would be every bit as awesome and quality as the carry-on and golf bags.

I don’t want to scare anybody. i have done 15 flights with it no problem. Twice they asked me to check. It’s an amazing bag

I use the away front pocket carry on roller bag. It’s been great for me. The wheels are not as smooth as a rimowa luggage but I’ve had the away roller bag for 5 years and it hasn’t had any issues. All the zippers work great with no snagging.

It has four wheels so I can pull/push it alongside me while I pull my golf travel bag

Here’s a link to the carry on luggage’s from away:

It is my go to. So easy and I can get two suits, shirts, two additional outfits and my toiletries and gym shoes in there. If I need to expand it I can and that still works great and fits in the overhead.

I've flown 5 or 6 times with it. I've had to gate check it a few times, but on those planes any roller bags got checked.

I figured if there's anybody on here that knows luggage you would be near the top of the list. 👍🏼

I love my bellroy duffle

I’ve been using the Caddy Daddy first class carry-on for a little over a year. It’s really been perfect for a short one or two night trips over to Arizona for golf. I’ve also used it on longer trips like when I went last year to the Mitsubishi experience and spent a couple extra nights. It’s my go to for any flight now even when it’s not golf.
I have heard mixed things on this, is it too big to carry on and fit in overhead compartment or not?

I just use a hardsided one I got on Amazon and it does the job. One requirement I have is I like the 4 wheels so I don't have to drag it behind me.

Another massive fan of the Ogio Layover case.

Never had to check it due to size - only once due to a completely full flight (and I had a laptop bag as well), solid handle and great wheels. The material seems robust and hasn't taken on any damage. Swallows clothes and has enough external pockets to hold documents, and the items I want to have at my seats whilst I'm flying.

Did a 5 day, 3 round golf trip with it last October - only my shoes in the golf travel case - rest in the bag.

I also love the color and design - if it ever gets checked, or put in with other bags, for example when I leave it at a luggage drop in a hotel then it's usually unique and easy to point out.
